Did you know that in prayer there is often "two sides" to success?  There is!  You see, you pray ... and believe.  But God speaks to someone to answer that prayer, and it is up to them to be quick and responsive to His command. 

Often, when you pray for something there is a 2nd person involved.  You see, God has people all over the world who will give when He says "give".  He also has people all over the world that He "wants to teach" to give, people that still hang on to things, and need to learn to "let go". 

Let's say you have a financial need.  You pray and you ask God for it.  Now, you stand.  You stand on your faith, and you believe what God's Word says concerning that prayer.

God, in turn, speaks to someone to give, maybe directly to you, maybe through a raise at work, or maybe just a random gift.  In any case, this person if they are not responsive, will take you through a roller coaster of ideas and what-if's of unbelief, if you are not strong in your faith over your prayer, having practiced patience. 

Let's say that God speaks to John, about giving into a particular ministry.  Maybe John has been really growing spiritually and learning from their weekly newsletters or their preaching/teaching messages, and God wants to get John to sow back into that ministry.  This is scriptural!  So God speaks to John, but John gets busy and forgets, or he puts it off until later. 

Meanwhile, back at the ministry, they are struggling to keep their newsletters coming, and to keep the messages available, and the bills continue to pile up.  They go to God in prayer, and they continue to stand, rebuking the devil for any delays he may have caused ... but they remain in faith! 

Finally, John remembers and gives into that ministry.  Then others like him, who God has also spoken to, begin to give!  All-of-a-sudden, money begins to come in and the ministry that was beginning to think they were just preaching to an empty crowd ... receives the money they need to continue the work God has instructed them to do!

You see, often in ministry there are times when we need to just "do" what the Bible says to do ...

... "having done everything to stand, stand ..."
(Ephesians 6). 

So we stand and we believe in what God has promised.  Sometimes the answer comes quickly.  Sometimes it does not.  But remember, when you receive an urgency from God to give, "DO NOT HESITATE"!  Get on it!  For there is someone, out there, who is acting in faith, and they are using patience to wait on God to provide.  And "you" are the hands that God has chosen to use.  But if you put it off long enough, God will find someone else ... someone who is more trustworthy and dependable, and the blessings of being that giver will pass you by. 

Remember this!  Give, and it will be given to you ... in good measure, broken down and running over, shall "men" give unto you!  And by your standard of measure shall men give in return.  (Luke 6:38)  The Kingdom of God is based on the seed principle of giving.  You sow and then you reap.  Plain and simple, huh!   So, go for it!
