CampfireTALKSeptember 2012  -  Week 2

Greetings!

Where have ya' been, pastor Rich?
Well, everyone else gets a "summer vacation", right?  That is where we've been, taking a break.  We've been taking the summer reviewing, reconsidering, and evaluating our ministries and the ministry efforts ... and now that the school season is back ... so are we!

We are always "thankful" ... for YOU.
Remeber that!

Make me proud!

Health Tips!

Did you take my advice last week and move on getting into a regular routine of exercise?  If not, let me put it to you the way you may need to hear it:

"If you don't exercise you are going to die!"  Now, we're all going to die, and some sooner than others.  But what kind of quality of life do you want?

Remember, as you get older your body is going to need "more" exercise.  It must have exercise in order to stay in shape, to work your backbone, your various muscles and the joints and the sinews of your system.  Your legs, toes fingers, all need regular, routine movement and exercise.  A woman I watched growing old began to have need of assistance in walking, so she got a walker.  The problem is, as she began to use it she stopped exercising her legs!  She began to actually "hop" along, using the walker like a set of parallel bars.  First thing ya' know, she was more and more crippled as the days went on, until eventually, she could not even go 50 years on that walker until she had to stop and sit for a bit!  And yet, when she first started, she shot off like lightening!  Why?  Because she was "walking" and only using the walker to assist her in her balance.  But as she began to get lazy and depend more on the walker than she did for her legs, she became more and more crippled.  Her legs were not getting the exercise they needed. Now, she moves along and those legs look almost lame!  Is it because she was getting old?  That had something to do with it, but the reason she is now lame is not because she is old.  It is because she "doesn't USE her limbs".  She does not exercise!

Do you want to waste away that way, sitting in a chair all day as section by section your body gives way and ceases to function properly?  The choice is all yours to make!  You press on and make the effort!  Stay fit, keep your body in shape, and "fight" for a good healthy life ...

Make me proud!

A Word from pastor Richbanner - WORD CHURCH -(sm).jpg

Ok, let's review what we learned in last weeks lesson ...

"If it's meant to be ... it is up-to-ME!"

Study that for a minute.  Let the Holy Spirit speak to you and you will see!

You have dreams, and hopes, and plans for your future.  And last week I asked you to consider what "action" you needed to take to make it all happen.  Did you discover your "action"?

Paul says that "faith without works is dead".  He was not saying that "works" is faith, but rather this ...

"If you truly believe in what you are applying your faith towards, then you will take some sort of action in that direction as a result of those beliefs ... of that faith that you claim to have."

This week, I want you to write down your dreams ... write down that one big thing that you want - let's just start with one for now.  We'll learn the principles, apply them, see them work and then start on others!

Write down that big dream, and put that piece of paper on your bathroom mirror.  Each day you prepare your day, place your hand on that paper and confess over it!

"Father, in Jesus name ... I call for the wisdom of GOD in this plan, and in making this thing come to pass.  I want to see it, manifested before my eyes, that Your Word might be proved true yet again in the eyes of men!  I will tell it ... I will shout it from the mountain tops, of how MY GOD made this come to pass!  Holy Spirit, quicken my mind to prepare, to learn, and to plan to implement this and to see it come TRUE ...
in Jesus name!
A-men."

Your job, until next week, is to make this your "daily" habit.  Do it with wife or your husband, or your brother or sister.  Find someone to believe with you in this, and expect a miracle!

Make me proud!
