In reviewing the message last month, I learned so much from this, that I thought it prudent to re-send this again. It's worth "studying" ... Enjoy!
Measuring your success, and tracking the progress in life is important, but not so much that it sets your pace. A wise man is not moved by his surroundings but in the wisdom and the knowledge that resides deep within his heart ... the core of his being, for he "knows" the Will of the Father, and he knows that a plan set in place by God ... WILL prevail. It make have delays, but God is not mocked! If HE said it, then that settles it, whether you believe it or not.
So, if at this point in your life, you have no accomplished what you wanted to accomplish, take some time to consider what you have accomplished, and maybe why you didn't reach the goal that you had in your heart in that area. But more importantly, remember that life is like the little boy who brings his ball and bat so they can all play the game ... it's "his" ball and bat, and they don't quit ... until he wins!

About Character ...

Last month we talked about a valuable trait that seems to be less important today than it was in the past. But is it really? Or is it the most valuable trait a man can have as his being? We are talking about "character" ... Character is the internal strength, the unseen power that drives a man to do things that he maybe couldn't otherwise accomplish. It creates feats of great strength and un-foretold possibilities! It is a treasure ... a pearlj. Character ... remember it! One thought to remember ... there are enemies to character, and the principles that it holds, because these enemies live the life of fools! They chose the frills and quick results that sin brings, but their end is calamity and ruin. DO NOT embrace their ways, but respect and treasure "wisdom" and "knowledge", the tools of a man of character. Make me proud! -pastor rich-
