Greetings!
 | | Thankful and Blessed! |
This month of April is the time that we remember our oldest Brother, Jesus, and what He did for us, when He became a man, living in the Earth, and showed us the way we are to walk, and how we are to live, as an example of a "Believer" in the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is the time we remember that Jesus came to stand in our place, as THE Sacrificial Lamb of God, offering Himself up once and for all, on our behalf and in our place, to "die"!
The really GOOD NEWS, though, is that He AROSE on the third day! But not before He took Satan's keys from him, and turned Satan's world upside down, as He burst His way out of Hell! The Bible tells us that death, Hell and the grave could no longer hold him!
Now, we stand before God, as though we have never ever sinned! That's right, because of what Jesus did, you and I are able to waltz into the throne room like we own the place ... because we do! The Bible says that we are "join heirs with Jesus"! That means whatever He got, because of Calvary, so did we!
You see, we are now members of the Family of GOD! We're God's kids!!
In the same way that your child walks right into the kitchen, and opens up that refrigerator, just like he owns the place, we too can now walk into Heaven just like "we" own the place!
That is because of what Jesus did ... for us!
Keep that in mind this season as we enter into the time of Easter, a celebration and remembrance of God's Gift to Mankind! We have a LOT to be "thankful" for!

A Word From Pastor Rich
Light The Fire!

WORD CHURCH
Fire is an interesting phenomenon! It is not something you can hold or grasp, like you to a tree branch. It produces heat. It produces light. And there is a LOT that you can do with it ... as you will see. Fire can be used to warm you up, when it's cold. It can be used to burn away used brush that you need to clear out. It can be used to power an engine. And in the wild, it can be used to defend yourself against predators! Fire can be used to purify a metal object, kill all germs. Fire can be used to cauterize a wound, or stop the bleeding, in an emergency. It can cook your food, heat your home, and generate electricity to power a great many things that we depend on! Fire is something that you need to keep in check, because it can quickly grow out of hand! A simple campfire or brushfire, can easily get out of control and suddenly the entire countryside is ablaze with it! In the natural, that can be very scary. The Bible says that GOD is a "consuming fire"! When His Spirit begins to move, like the fire of the natural, it can quickly set the world around you on-fire! That is, ON FIRE for JESUS!! You see, when you get excited about God ... when you begin to spend time in His presence, and you begin to "know" what it is like to have Him all up inside of you, then "YOU" begin to burn ablaze with His wonderful presence! His brightness and His goodness will "shine" in your eyes, much like the embers of a fire in the windows of a burning building! I remember a song I used to sing in church as a youth ... it goes something like this: It only takes a spark, to get a fire going ...
and soon all those around, can warm up to it's glowing!
That's how it is with God's love, once you've experienced it!
You want to sing! It's fresh like Spring!
You want to pass it on!
God's "power" and His Word is like a raging fire, when you get into His Presence and experience it ... first hand! It - is - fantastic! You can't seem to stop it! It changes lives! It frees up those who are bound! It "charges" those who are down and depressed! It literally "sets ablaze" those who come in contact with it!! Isn't it time you started "playing with a little fire" today? ... the Fire of God? I assure you ... He will "rock your world!!
