A big "Howdy" from Austin Texas!!
Well, we begin the 2nd month of this brand new year and as God promised, this is going to prove to be a "fantastic" year!
This year is full of promise, and we, the body of Christ and members of His Family, have "favor"! God has blessed us with "favor", but we have to choose to walk in it, in order to see it become a part of our lives. The whole Kingdom of God is built on the same principle! You must "believe"! And you must "act on your faith", in order to walk in anything that God has to offer you!

Things are not always ...
... as they appear!

Did you see the magazine article pic above? Fantastic, isn't it! Me, and pastor Jane, on a front cover of a magazine article! Well, before you get too excited, I want you to know that things are NOT always as they appear!
THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS AS THEY APPEAR!
The Bible tells us that "things that are seen" are temporary,meaning they are subject to change. They either are not real, or they are only temporary. They can change!
In this case, the magazine article is from a photo service on a website called "Photofunia.com". You supply the picture, and they supply the various templates that make you appear to be in places you've never been, and in situations you've never experienced!
 I have a pic of me wearing an "Iron Man" suit! I've also been a Klingon, an here you see me as an Astronaut! I've even been a big celebrity on a billboard!
But these are all illusions, and are not real! Things in life are the same way! They may seem hopeless, or impossible, but are often very simple to overcome ... with God!
Jesus said if a man could believe and not doubt in his heart that what he says would come to pass, he could have whatever he says!
In other words, if he could believe, he could have it! Jesus said if a man could believe and not doubt, that he could speak to a mountain and that mountain would have to be taken up and removed in obedience to the man's words! That's amazing! BUT ... it's also "true"!
Are things facing you this year that you cannot seem to overcome? Are there things in your life that seem just plain "impossible"? Really?
I want you to remember that the devil wants them to seem that way so that YOU will believe they are! But they're not!
Oral Roberts is perhaps most famous for making the phrase, "Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world!", a popular one! It's true! You have "GOD" inside of you! Just think about what you can do ...
If you will only ... believe!
Make me proud!
