Greetings!

"I've got a question"The WORD CHURCH is a ministry. It reaches out to ministers around the world and gives them a "home church" where they had no home church before. It gives them a pastor who cares about their calling, and when they have prayer needs. And, it "connects" those of us who are in the ministry, to provide a way for ministers in other countries to be "connected" here to what God is doing here in the U.S., as we are "connected" to what God is doing "there", in countries like Kenya (Africa), the Phillipines, Indonesia, Pakistan, and India, to name a few. We are committed to providing these young men of God with a place they can call "home" ... a place where they can email, or call, for prayer and encouragement, when things get rough, as they continue in their walk to follow Jesus, and to preach the Word of God. We started a local fellowship in April of 2006, out of our home ... Shortly afterwards, we began meeting in the Round Rock Library. Their schedule, as the Fall season approached, just did not work for us, if we wanted to have consistent meeting nights. At the time, we were meeting on Friday evenings. I believe that only "eagles" will show up on a Friday night! Anyway, due to the scheduling issues, we returned to our home. Attendance went down, and circumstances changed, causing us to cease having regular meetings - a decision I have regretted ever since. Folks, I believe that God has His timing, and I just messed up! I'm going literally bonkers not being able to preach! It's not easy for a pastor, and especially a teacher - you have all of this that gets bottled up inside of you, and it has got to get out somehow! You have just got to preach! We are now beginning to have folks interested in being a part of meetings. They're asking if we're meeting, and if not, "when" they ask? We have therefore decided to set up weekly Intercessory Prayer Group meetings. These will meet on a weekly basis, and we will take things further frm that point. Prayer is the key to starting, and maintaining, any ministry. We believe this is a good place to begin ... again. These first meetings will be a little teaching, but mostly based upon prayer, intercessory prayer and on spiritual warfare. We believe this is the first step in building the foundation for a local fellowship, and then a church. Are you interested? We would like to hear from you! This is an informational issue ... Look for the return of CampfireTALK starting in October 2011. to contact us: partnerup@wordchurch.info

IT People Needed ...
|
You heard me right ... I "am" an IT guy, but we need IT People to accomplish some things we are considering in the near future! Our partners are asking for "Video Conferences" between our foreign sites and here!! And we could us your help ... I need some help ...
If you are an IT person, and understand or have worked very much with SKYPE and videoconferencing, we could use your help in setting up regular "video conferences" with our partners in ministry in places across the globe! We're on a rather tight budget with this, at least at this time, and are placing this "out there" to hear from those of you that the Father might be speaking to about hooking up with us. So, if you're getting that wrestling feeling in your spirit about getting involved in this project, please contact us! Make me proud! - pastor rich - Remember what God says: " For I know the plans I have for you", says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." about the Pastor About me: I'm a hopeless romantic! I write poetry, short stories, and songs. I love rainy and foggy days. (sorry, that's me) I like to take walks with my wife through nature, go camping with her in the outdoors, and take my Jeep and go places we really can't go in a normal car. I can't wait for us to get a motorcycle! We both love to ride! I love to sit in the woods and listen to the raindrops after a rain as they slowly drip from the leaves, in the quiet of the woods. My feelings run deep - really deep. My values are true, solid, black-and-white. My commitments are true, as well. I am a believer in "absolutes"! When I am your friend, there are no "grey areas" with me - you're my friend - period. That survives all attacks, all obstacles, and all that we may go through. I'm not perfect, but my beliefs are solid, deep-rooted, and of honor and character. These are what keep me grounded, as a friend, and as a person ... and they're what bring me back when I stray or fall short. My wife is that way too. I guess that's why we are such a perfect match! about Jane: She's that sparkle in my eye, the twinkle in my smile, the dance in my step, the hop in my walk, and the object of my affections! We go camping together, Jeeping together, traveling together, and we even work out together! When we go out in public together, I climb over 2 notches on the social scale just because I'm seen in public with her! We like much of the same foods, so we cook together and compare recipes. We learn from one another. She's my pal, my friend, my lover, and my partner in life. We even do Weight Watchers together! We've been called that "Mad About You" couple you've seen on TV! When we minister together, it's obvious that we "belong"! I believed God for Jane. She was a "special order", I assure you! He put things in her personality, her physique, and her walk ... all the things about her are things God knew that I wanted and needed! She is His expression of love, to me! |

Here at WORD CHURCH Ministries, we are committed to the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ, in teaching, preaching, and in sharing the Word of God ... to the World! This is not an option, for us, but a "command". Jesus told us to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel ..." so that is just what we do! And it is with your prayers and your continued support that we are able to do this!
Thank you for your help in carrying out the vision, our vision, of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world!
Sincerely,
