Greetings!

pastors Danny & Cheryl and their family |
PRAYER ALERT!The Bible says in Provers that "He who is slack in the day of distress is a friend of the destroyer." Well, pastor Danny put the word out right away that he needed some help ... some "prayer cover" ... On Sunday evening, I received a message from pastor Danny Williams that his daughter had broken her neck in 3 places during a swimming accident! The EMS had taken her to the hospital and by the time I heard from pastor Danny, they were in WACO, on their way to Temple Texas, to Scott & White Hospital. Folks, that is all that I know. I just heard from pastor Danny before sending this out ... the doctors were there with Danny and Cheryl, and she was in great pain. Remember last week when we talked about Peter, and what he said to the paralytic in the temple, only hours after Jesus had just left? He said, "Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have ... I give to thee! Rise up! And walk!" Well, our prayer is that God's magnificent covenant, the one with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob ... you know, the one ratified by the shed blood of Jesus? Yeah, that one ... the same one that opened up the windows of heaven for YOU, in your need, and when you needed to receive salvation ... from your sin, from sickness, and even from poverty symptoms. Yeah, that covenant ... well, we are making demands on that covenant now ... in the name of Jesus! Pastor Danny's daughter, "Abby", is in pain. We know that God is already at work because you don't break your neck and usually live to tell about it ... let alone in over 3 places!! Nonetheless, we want to ensure that there is no open door of opportunity for the devil in this! Saints, what if it were your child, or your spouse? You'd want some serious "action" at work on their behalf. And that is what we're asking for here ... YOUR FAITH DOES COUNT: The Bible says where "one would put a thousand to flight, two will put ten thousand to flight"! This is from Proverbs ... So, as each of you joins your prayers in faith ... together ... with ours, we magnify the power of prayer and God's open door to show Himself strong on pastor Danny's behalf ... and on behalf of little Abby. 'Nuf said ... get busy! (and thank you!!) Make me proud! - rich - NOTE: If you are a musician, and want to sing or play in a band, we need you! If you've got any experience running a sound board, we need you! If you can usher, or set up and take down P.A. equipment, please ... we need you!

Weekly Devotions from Pastor Rich |
John Allcorn,our son |
Remember, the story last week about John and his trip to Canada? Well, new developments arose and he had the opportunity to travel to Arkansas with some friends for a couple of weeks! So, when he arrived from Canada, we had a wonderful reunion, while we washed his clothes and packed his bags ... and he left the following morning for Arkansas! During this time John begin to feel home sick ... We used SKYPE to talk to him. He would call us on his little notebook computer (netbook) and we could see him, and he could see us. The visits were great! But it didn't help his missing us until, on Father's Day, since he had to be away from us on that day, we took the notebook computer with us and set it up in the kitchen while we were cooking! He got to watch us and visit with us ... and he even watched TV and played with his friend in Arkansas, all the while occasionally looking over to his PC and seeing us and hearing our conversations. It made him feel 100% better! You know, "we" as Christians are NOT from this Earth. Oh, we were born here, but our spirits were "re-born" when we received Jesus as our Lord! When that happened, we became new creatures! And, though we've never been there, we long for heaven! It's a good thing to know that, like with John and using SKYPE to e-visit with us, we too can e-visit with Heaven! We won't need SKYPE though ... just some time alone with the Father. If you will spend time in prayer, with God, and fellowship, it's like you've "been there" when you get through! Try it some time and see that the "presence" of Heaven goes with you! As you finish reading this, please remember pastor Danny and his daughter "Abby" in your prayers! This is important! She has an assignment from the Father ... here in the Earth, and no demon or devil is going to interrupt that plan of God, with anything that would hinder or stop her! We "believe" that she is totally and completely healed and whole ... in Jesus name! Make me proud! NOTE: It is important that you are actively learning and growing in the knowledge of the Lord. If you are not currently in a church where they are preaching the word of God, please consider coming by for a visit! |

About the Pastors
About me:
I'm a hopeless romantic! I write poetry, short stories, and
songs. I love rainy and foggy days. (sorry, that's me) I like to take
walks with my wife through nature, go camping with her in the outdoors,
and take my Jeep and go places we really can't go in a normal car. I
can't wait for us to get a motorcycle! We both love to ride!
I love to sit in the woods and listen to the
raindrops after a rain as they slowly drip from the leaves, in the
quiet of the woods.
My feelings run deep -
really deep. My values are true, solid, black-and-white. My commitments
are true, as well. I am a believer in "absolutes"! When I am your
friend, there are no "grey areas" with me - you're my friend - period.
That survives all attacks, all obstacles, and all that we may go
through.
I'm not perfect, but my beliefs are solid, deep-rooted, and of honor and
character. These are what keep me grounded, as a friend, and as a
person ... and they're what bring me back when I stray or fall short.
My wife is that way too. I guess that's why we are such a perfect
match!
About her:
She's that sparkle in my
eye, the twinkle in my smile, the dance in my step, the hop in my walk,
and the object of my affections!
We go camping together, Jeeping together, traveling together, and we
even work out together! When we go out in public together, I climb over
2 notches on the social scale just because I'm seen in public with her!
We like much of the same foods, so we cook together and compare
recipes. We learn from one another. She's my pal, my friend, my lover,
and my partner in life. We even do Weight Watchers together! We've been called that "Mad About You" couple
you've seen on TV! When we minister together, it's obvious that we
"belong"!
I believed God for Jane. She was a "special order", I assure you! He put
things in her personality, her physique, and her walk ... all the
things about her are things God knew that I wanted and needed! She is His expression of love, to me! |

Some of my buddies I served with in the U.S. Air Force, forwarded this video to me. It shows men coming home from the war ... and the response their families (especially the kids!) have to seeing them suddenly there!
You have "got" to watch this!
Click here to watch the video
NOTE: the link will open an additional page to the "blog" version of this newsletter, which goes out at the same time each week. You can 'follow' this blog if you'd like. The "blog" version has the video imbedded where you can watch it there.
