I MET WITH AN INTERCESSOR!
A few of weeks ago, you remember, I was in San Saba, Texas where I spoke at a youth meeting sponsored by the local rotary club.  They were honoring the youth who had graduated with honors.

When the meeting was over, and the crowd had thinned out considerably, I was met by a lady who approached me as I was leaving the stage area with all of my gear.  She said to me, "I'm going to be praying for you and your trip home, pastor Rich!"

I stopped!  I suddenly knew that I was in the presence of an Intercessor!  Intercessor's are those who fully understand the scripture, "Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for his friend."  These folks do just that!  They lay down their own personal deals, projects, and tasks, and take time to go before the Father on behalf of others.  These folks are "priceless" in ministry, and especially in your home church!

I sat my gear down and took some time for this "spiritual warrior in prayer" ... honored that she would take time for me.  As we finished, I offered to pray ... for her!  She agreed!  At our parting I gave her one of my business cards ... she wanted to add me to her prayer list - something I treasure!  But it was not until this week that I discovered something wonderful!

She wrote me!  It seems that she'd been having some back trouble, and in her letter she said that when I prayed, she literally "felt" the pain leaving as I was praying!  She said she's been doing better ever since!  THANK YOU GOD!  I was able to "give back" to the intercessor ... the one who always takes time ... for others.

So, the next time you see one of these ole Saints, consider yourself in the presence of an Admiral ... someone with authority and anointing, in the Kingdom of God!  Give them of your time, and pray ... for them.  After all, they are praying ... for you!

Intercessors are funny about not wanting to "take credit" ... so I'll just say, "Howdy" to my friend "Suzanne" ... and may God richly bless you my friend, with all the goodness and favor that He can bestow upon you ... here, in this life!  In Jesus name!

OUR INTERCESSOR'S MEETINGS!
We will begin Intercessor's Meetings in a few weeks and we need to hear from those of you who are interested in being a part.  You do NOT have to be a member of this church, or leave your own church, just to join us!

Make me proud!

In Joshua chapter 1, verse 5, the scripture says this:

"... As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. "

Once saved - always saved?  I've always heard this discussion, and often pondered it, but never really took the time to address it until I was asked, personally, to comment.

You see, I have never had a problem with my salvation, or losing it.  Some however are either in fear of losing it, or feel that they can only keep it by works.  Others feel that you can, if you're not good enough, lose your salvation.  However, the Bible does not support this discussion, not in any way, when it pertains to the gospel of Jesus Christ, and a "Believer" who is saved by that blood sacrifice of Jesus.

The question posed to me was this:
"Do you believe 'once saved always saved'?"

My answer, coming straight from the Holy Spirit, was an enlightenment even to me, as it came out.  The answer was this:  "It is impossible for one to 'lose' one's salvation.  You have to 'lay it down', and that my friend is an entirely different matter."

The Bible teaches us, as Joshua 1:5 will support, that God will never leave us or forsake us.  There is no debate about this.  It's clear and simply.  He did not use an "if", an "and" or a "but", He just said "never".  That settles that!

There is a scripture in the Bible that speaks of the "laying down of one's salvation".  In my entire life, I've only met 1 individual in this state.  But, if were up to God, you can rest assured that "HE" will never under any circumstances allow "anything" to come between you and Him.  The only one that can do that ... is you.

I was then asked about a scripture in Revelation 3:5 that refers to your name being "blotted out" of the Lamb's book of Life.  I was thrilled to hear the Holy Spirit's interpretation of how this one applies!  "You see, you are foreordained from before the foundations of the World ... I have already 'seen' you, and have planned for your future, a bright and wonderful future!  And your name has been written in the Lamb's book of Life from the very beginning!  But there are times when a man will not choose to accept the gift of Jesus' sacrifice ... a time which, with much sadness and tears, the name must be removed from the book, and their soul condemned to eternal damnation.  But the Father did not intend for it to be this way.  He, living by faith Himself, is 'believing' that a man will follow and receive Jesus, and learn to fulfill the plan of God for his life."

I am looking forward, very soon, when I will be teaching on this and elaborating on these questions, and the answers that come for them.  If, though, you are only able to read this eNewsletter, remember this:

God loves you!  He loves you so, so very much ... that He gave you His very, very best ... in Jesus!  And He has gone to great lengths to separate you ... from your sin!  And NOT ... from Him.  Trust and know that God's love for you is more than you'll ever know.  If you are experiencing problems, whether in health, in finances, or in relationships ... know that it is not God who is sending these your way.  These are a result of something you "did", or "didn't" do ... and He has the answer to overcoming it!  The great thing is ... He'll tell.

We'll be teaching on this soon!  Look us up!
Make me proud!

About the Pastors

About me:
I'm a hopeless romantic! I write poetry, short stories, and songs. I love rainy and foggy days. (sorry, that's me) I like to take walks with my wife through nature, go camping with her in the outdoors, and take my Jeep and go places we really can't go in a normal car. I can't wait for us to get a motorcycle! We both love to ride!

I love to sit in the woods and listen to the raindrops after a rain as they slowly drip from the leaves, in the quiet of the woods.

My feelings run deep - really deep. My values are true, solid, black-and-white. My commitments are true, as well. I am a believer in "absolutes"! When I am your friend, there are no "grey areas" with me - you're my friend - period. That survives all attacks, all obstacles, and all that we may go through.

I'm not perfect, but my beliefs are solid, deep-rooted, and of honor and character. These are what keep me grounded, as a friend, and as a person ... and they're what bring me back when I stray or fall short. My wife is that way too. I guess that's why we are such a perfect match!

About her:
She's that sparkle in my eye, the twinkle in my smile, the dance in my step, the hop in my walk, and the object of my affections!

We go camping together, Jeeping together, traveling together, and we even work out together! When we go out in public together, I climb over 2 notches on the social scale just because I'm seen in public with her!

We like much of the same foods, so we cook together and compare recipes. We learn from one another. She's my pal, my friend, my lover, and my partner in life.  We even do Weight Watchers together!   We've been called that "Mad About You" couple you've seen on TV! When we minister together, it's obvious that we "belong"!

I believed God for Jane. She was a "special order", I assure you! He put things in her personality, her physique, and her walk ... all the things about her are things God knew that I wanted and needed!  She is His expression of love, to me!

Some of my buddies I served with in the U.S. Air Force, forwarded this video to me. It shows men coming home from the war ... and the response their families (especially the kids!) have to seeing them suddenly there! You have "got" to watch this!

Click here to watch the video

NOTE:  the link will open an additional page to the "blog" version of this newsletter, which goes out at the same time each week.  You can 'follow' this blog if you'd like.   The "blog" version has the video imbedded where you can watch it there.
Here at Rich Allcorn Ministries, we are committed to the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ, in teaching, preaching, and in sharing the Word of God ... to the World!  This is not an option, for us, but a "command".  Jesus told us to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel ..." so that is just what we do!  And it is with your prayers and your continued support that we are able to do this!

Thank you for your help in carrying out the vision of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world!

Sincerely,
