2010 - The Year We Make Contact
This January marks the beginning of not only a new year, but a new decade! We are beginning the year 2010. Being the science-fiction buff that I am I thought it'd be neat to use the 2010 movie title as our theme: 2010-The Year We Make Contact.
This year we are starting our church and beginning, as the Lord has directed, with the "Heart Attack Recovery" group meetings! These are vital for folks who are battling with fear that they might die any moment! Imagine having a guy in a black robe, following you everywhere you go! THAT is what these folks deal with ... every day!
So, keep your eyes tuned in ... we are currently arranging the meeting place and will announce our meeting place and time right here ... via email, and on our website! Look for it in the 2nd or 3rd week of January ...

Greetings!
Welcome to the monthly newsletter for WORD CHURCH! If you are a new  member/partner to our ministry, "Welcome"! This is our monthly update letter to help keep our members and partners updated on our status ...
This month we have been slamming it into "overdrive" where technology is concerned, and God is opening doors to bringing to us the ability to reach out and help folks to "get connected" with us, from just about anywhere in the world!
Our family is now converted completely to iPhone, and this has opened up so many doors I cannot begin to share at this time ... suffice to say that I - AM - PUMPED!
Also, the ministry domain has successfully migrated to Google Apps, so our staff and partners can now enjoy online resources such as email, shared calendars, online files and resources, team building and groups, etc. using our newly acquired "Google" services.
Our e-newsletter service is now set up, and folks have begun to receive the various newsletters we send out, for various groups, and they are "excited" and "pumped"" It's all looking up, folks!
We're on a roll ... and "new beginnings" are on the horizon!

Heart Attack Recovery !
A New Support Group
 God has instructed us to begin a support group for folks who have experienced a heart attack, or the folks who are affected by a family member or friend who had a heart attack.
We are searching for the proper meeting place now, and we will begin these meetings around the 3rd week of January! Stay tuned!
