Greetings!
This past year has been one of significant growth for the ministry of Help One Child! The number of at-risk youth and their families served grew by over 37%, yet staff remained virtually the same.
This simply would not have been possible without the 1,250 volunteers who dedicated over 15,500 hours of committed service. Their time and attention enabled hundreds more children and their parents to attend new and continued programs and receive personalized support throughout the year.
In May 2011, for the first time in 18 years, Help One Child held a "Mission Increase" event. It took only twenty-four generous table sponsors who in turn enabled twenty-four mission champions to invite their guests to hear firsthand the stories of lives changed by this ministry. The result was an amazing blessing, not only for Help One Child, but for all those in attendance.
