The Summer Fancy Food Show in Washington, DC was an exciting event for Sable & Rosenfeld. We debuted the newest addition to our gourmet line of condiments, Spicy Olive Bruschetta. We received lots of positive comments. Give it a try!

Sable & Rosenfeld attended the SIAL show in Montreal, Quebec, May 9 - 11. We had the opportunity to meet and discuss our products and programs with many potential new accounts primarily in the Quebec market.
Throughout Canada, we are experiencing many weather changes which are great for our summer outdoor products. Our Tipsy BBQ Sauce leads the way along with our new party favourite, Spicy Bruschetta, which is rapidly garnering a large consumer following and achieving new distribution in all markets across the country.
Recent trade events allowed Myra and Doug to meet and greet many of our customers as we attended the Annual General Meeting of Distribution Canada and The Retail Council of Canada National Conference where retiring CEO of Sobeys Inc., Bill McEwan was recognized. | |

BEAT THE SUMMER HEAT DELICIOUSLY!

Take a Dip
Ingredients:
1 jar of Sable & Rosenfeld 3 Pepper Blast
8 oz softened cream cheese
8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Preparation:
Blend the 3 Pepper Blast with the softened cream cheese. Once the 3 Pepper Blast and cream cheese are well blended, add in the sharp cheese and fold. Serve with sliced cucumbers, sugar snap peas and celery sticks. |

No Ordinary Burger or Dog

Add a heaping tablespoon of 3 Pepper Blast to your burger or hot dog and experience a "blast"!
Even better, mix with shredded cheddar cheese and stuff inside a burger. |

Myra's Favorite Salmon

Ingredients:
1-1/2 lb salmon fillet
½ cup Tipsy Teriyaki Sauce
1 tbsp chili flakes (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Place fish in above marinade for approx 1 hr. Soak one "12x7" plank in water for at least 30 minutes or more. Place plank on grill over a medium high heat; close lid and let plank heat for 10 minutes or until starting to smoke. Turn plank over with tongs and place marinated fish on the plank, cover and grill approx 15 -20 minutes. Cut salmon into 6 slices and serve. (Equally good at room temperature the next day if you are lucky enough to have leftovers.) |

Myra's Tipsy Ribs
Ingredients: 6 lbs baby back ribs 1 ½ jars Tipsy BBQ Sauce Preparation: Place ribs in a large baking dish. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss a jar of Tipsy BBQ Sauce over the ribs and cover with foil. Bake in the oven at 350 for 1 ½ hrs. Take ribs out of the sauce and place on a platter until ready to place on the grill. Just prior to grilling, brush with ½ bottle of Tipsy BBQ Sauce and cook for approximately 30 minutes or until crispy and glazed. Cut into finger sized ribs. Serves 6
