Fiery Olive Martini

Chopin Vodka will be showcasing and sampling our fiery olives in their vodka cocktails at Chicago Gourmet on Sept. 24 and 25. If you live anywhere close to the Chicagoland area this is a not-to-be-missed event. With some of Chicago's top chefs, Chicago Gourmet features tons of demonstrations and gourmet food tastings from over 50 chefs. Wine and spirits samples abound, provided by over 300 wineries and 65 spirits producers.

Build-Your-Own-Pizza Party

Have bowls of various prepared toppings available for your guests to use to create their very own "masterpiece" pizza.

 

1. Start with Pizza Dough from your local grocery or make your own. Place a pizza stone or baking sheet in oven. Preheat oven to 500° for 30 minutes. Stretch dough into a 5 - to 7-inch circle on a separate lightly floured baking sheet.

2. Spread 1/2 cup sauce of choice on each dough circle.

3. Top with 4 oz. of shredded, sliced, or crumbled cheese of choice.

4. Choose the toppings. Get creative by mixing and matching your favorites.

5. Season pizza with desired amount of seasonings. (Oregano, Italian Seasonings, etc.)

6. Slide pizza from baking sheet onto hot pizza stone or baking sheet in oven. Bake at 500° for 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden. Great also prepared on your grill!

Taste of the Mediterranean: Sable & Rosenfeld Mediterranean Olive Bruschetta, sliced Roma tomatoes, sliced grilled chicken breast, crumbled goat cheese, oregano.

 

Farmer's Market Special: Fresh tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, torn basil.

 

Meat Lover's: Sable & Rosenfeld 4 Pepper & Olive Dip, cooked and crumbled sausage or ground beef, sliced pepperoni, shredded mozzarella cheese.

Scary Halloween Cocktails

 

Tipsy Vermouth OnionsGhoulish Gibson

Ingredients:

2 1/2oz Gin

1/2oz dry Vermouth

2 Vermouth Tipsy Onions

 

Preparation:

 

Pre-chill glass. Fill martini shaker with ice cubes. Pour in Gin and Vermouth. Shake. Strain into glass and garnish with two Vermouth Tipsy Onion "Eyeballs". For the "eyeballs", pierce each onion with a toothpick or knife and place one caper in each hole. Line up both onions on a long cocktail pick (like a pair of eyeballs) and place on top of martini glass. Ghoulish!

 

 

Vodka Tipsy Fiery Olives

Witches' Brewtini

 

Ingredients:

3 oz Vodka

1 oz dry Vermouth

½ oz Sable & Rosenfeld Fiery Olive Brine

2 Sable & Rosenfeld Fiery Tipsy Olives

 

Preparation:

Pre-chill glass. Fill martini shaker with ice cubes. Pour in Vermouth, brine and Vodka. Shake. Strain into glass and add two Fiery Tipsy Olives - "Witches Fingernails" (peppers pointing up) on the rim of the glass.
