Greetings!

Fall is upon us and, like spring, it can be a great time to explore new financial opportunities, such as CDARs (The Certificate of Deposit Registry ServiceŽ). With this service, Voyager Bank can provide you with access to FDIC protection on investments over $250,000---this is excellent news for non-profit organizations, public entities, corporations and individuals seeking additional coverage. We invite you to learn more about CDARS here, or to watch a video about how CDARS works here.

We're committed to customer convenience, and we're pleased to announce that we have updated our eStatement service. Beginning September 13, access to daily account activity and monthly statements will now be in one convenient location. Instead of going to a separate secure website, you will simply log in to your secure Personal or Business Online Banking account to receive your monthly eStatement.

We hope that fall renews your energy and ignites your enthusiasm for life. Watch for October's newsletter where you once again will have the opportunity to submit your name into a drawing. Hearty congratulations go to Anthony Follen, who won last month's $50 Target Gift Card for back to school supplies.

I am happy to announce Greg Hoehn as the new president for the Shakopee branch of Voyager Bank. Greg has been a valuable member of Voyager Bank for 13 years. In addition to his work at Voyager Bank, Greg has been a 20 year member of the Shakopee Rotary and has also served 10 years on the Chamber of Commerce Board in various roles including Board Chairman in 2006. As Greg transitions to President, I will continue in the role of Executive Vice President of the bank with Loan Portfolio and New Business Development responsibilities.

Please join me in congratulating Greg on his new role with Voyager Bank.

Take care and enjoy the change of season,

Terry O'Toole

True (and funny) Rules of Golf #5

The score (or handicap) a player reports should always be regarded as his opening offer.

All vows taken on a golf course shall be valid only until sunset.

A "Gimme" is defined as an agreement between two golfers, that can't putt very well.

The term "mulligan" is a contraction of the phrase "maul it again."

A stroke does not occur unless it is observed by more than one golfer.

A two-foot putt counts the same as a two-foot drive.

Unlike baseball. In golf, you have to play your foul balls.

Leaf rule: Used in certain parts of America during Autumn allowing a golfer to play another ball without penalty when his previous shot is lost and assumed covered by leaves, or in your case...pocketed...
