Introducing the Chutzpah Awards 2011
At the METNY Synagogue Leadership Conference
METNY USCJ is looking for "heroes", change agents, and leaders from your congregation/kehillah who have made a difference by tackling challenges old and new with creative and innovative solutions. Coinciding with our Spring Leadership Conference (3/15/11) theme of "Profiles in Chutzpah," we seek submissions of case studies of synagogue leaders who have made a positive impact by:
- thinking outside of the box (even discarding the box itself),
- pushing the envelope,
- and leading with verve and nerve
The purpose of this initiative is to collect case studies of transformative leadership in synagogues. It is our intention to disseminate these case studies as learning opportunities for other synagogue leaders throughout METNY and North America. [more info]
