Today - Sept 30 - 2012
Today . . . CHURCH-WIDE PICNIC In case of inclement weather today lunch will be served in the Family Life Center for those who have reservations for the picnic. Also, we will have baptism next Sunday for those scheduled for Baptism in the Bay.
( Note: - Good or bad weather for Sunday: FUN.com will NOT be held today )
In both morning services, we will honor the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus through the celebration of THE LORD'S SUPPER that He established as a time of remembrance. Also we will observe Baptism Celebration Daywhich has been a longtime SBC tradition that God has honored as we believers have responded in obedience to share the good news of Jesus Christ and baptize those that are being saved. After our 10:30am worship service today we will all gather at the Blue Angel Naval Recreation Area for our annual PICNIC & BAPTISM IN THE BAY. Afternoon recreation will include volleyball which will take place after the picnic and baptism.
