Pastor's Class for new members - Sept 9th

The Pastor's Class for new members and prospective members will also be held on Sunday, September 9, at 4:30pm in the church fellowship hall. This class is for new members who have recently joined our church family as well as those who may be interested in church membership. If you are interested in participating, write your name and telephone number on the welcome tab attached to the bulletin and drop it in the offering plate.

KEENAGERS: Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 4th, 2012, 10:00 A. M. in the fellowship hall. Our program will be "The Wright Street Boys." Please bring a covered dish to go with fried chicken. We will have banana splits for dessert. Mike Hagen, along with members of the Strength Team will be here in Escambia County ministering in the public schools during the day along with nightly presentations here in our sanctuary. Begin praying now for God to bless this event.

THE LORD'S SUPPER        

On Sunday September 30, in both morning services we will honor the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus through the celebration of the supper that He established as a time of remembrance. Then following the morning worship services, the church will gather at Blue Angel Naval Recreational Park at 1:00pm for a picnic and Baptism in the Bay.  

Mark your calendars for our Picnic & Baptism in the Bay on September 30th @ 1:00 PM at the Blue Angel Recreational Park. The menu will be hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings along with drinks. The cost is $5.00 for adults / $3.00 for children 10 and under. The park entrance fee has been paid. Please pay in advance by either giving you reservation form and money to Cami Simmons in the finance office, or by placing it in the offering plate. Checks need to be made payable to MGBC (Write PICNIC on the memo line.) Thanks!
