What it's all about:
Any parent will vouch for the old saying that "kids grow like weeds" and so does the required clothing budget for them.
It seems that no sooner do you stock up on their current size, and they're ready for the next one.
A clothing swap is a great alternative to taking a car-full of your kids' clothes to the local donation truck or having to spend time going back and forth with the consignment store. The idea behind a swap is to have a group of friends bring gently used children's clothes to one place, where everyone gets to off-load the stuff taking up room in their closets and bring home some new pieces for their kids. |
What to Bring (and not to bring)
 What to bring:
* Kids clothes & accessories that are wearable & freshly laundered.
Most swap-worthy items fall into 3 categories:
* NEW Clothes (with tags)
* NEARLY NEW Clothes (worn only once or twice)
* GENTLY USED Clothes (worn, but still in very good condition)
What not to bring:
* Out of respect for fellow swappers, please do not bring ripped, dirty, stained items, those with broken zippers, or otherwise unwearable.

How it Works:
When you arrive you'll be given one exchange ticket for each clothing item you bring. When you leave you'll pay one exchange ticket for each clothing item you take. (Socks and underwear are accepted, but no ticket is given.)
