Today . . .

In our pastor's absence, Rev. Morgan Miller will be our guest speaker for the 9:15am and 10:30am worship services.

Rev. Morgan Miller graduated from Portsmouth Interstate Business College in 1962, majoring in Business Administration.

In 1968 he attended Central Baptist Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also studied Bible courses through Liberty University.

Rev. Miller was Pastor of Faith Baptist Temple in Ohio for 19 years. He served as a Detective Staff Sergeant and Chaplain for the Union County Sheriff's Office for 14 years.

Also, during that time he was an investigator for the Union County Probate Court.

For the past 11 years he has served as Chaplain for the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office.

Rev. Miller and his wife Jackie have four children, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. They will celebrate fifty years of marriage in December.

Rev. Miller and Jackie both teach a Sunday School class and have been members of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church for 12 years.

Wednesday Night Bible Study

Join Pastor Ron on Wednesday evenings at 6pm as we study the exciting Book of Romans. This study will take place in the worship center following a time of prayer.

Next Sunday, June 17, is Father's Day . . .

Plan to come to church and worship with your dad on Father's Day. All dads present in our worship services will receive a gift on Father's Day. Pastor Ron will be delivering the third message in the series on "Our Great Commission Challenge." This message will focus on the family, which is the first area of our concern in evangelism.

CALLING ALL FISHERMEN . . .

Pastor Ron is planning a fishing trip for Saturday, June 30, for boys and girls in our church who do not have the benefit of a father living in their home. Therefore, men, if you are willing to invest some time in teaching children how to fish, as well as modeling a Christian male example, call the church office to sign up. Dads, you are also invited to bring your children to this event. (A sign-up sheet for those who would like to participate is inserted in the bulletin today.)

Upward Soccer: Come and be a part of our Upward Team. Upward is not just a sports league. It is a sports ministry! We have a place for you! Directors, coaches, assistant coaches, referees, concession workers, and prayer partners are needed. See Ron Pouliot to volunteer.

Basketball Camp & Soccer Registration Now Open:

Registration forms for the upcoming basketball camp and Upward Soccer are located in the foyer on the VBS table.

Girl's Day Out!!! Mark your calendars and come join us for a little 'girl time' on Saturday, June 23, from 11:00am to 1:00pm in Fellowship Hall. The meal is a potluck salad lunch; bring your favorite salad to share. The dress is casual; come comfortable. Give yourself the gift of spending 2 hours with other amazing Myrtle Grove ladies. We will fellowship, eat, fellowship, praise the Lord, fellowship. . . well, you get the idea! Hope to see you there. And bring a friend!

The Finance Committee is now accepting proposals for the 2013 Budget Year. You will find a blank MGBC BUDGET PROPOSAL FORM in the finance office. The deadline for submitting your request is Friday, July 13th at noon. Completed forms need to be turned in to
