9:15am & 10:30am Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Our special guests are John Fuller, FCA Regional Director and Willie Spears, Head Football Coach, Escambia High School. Today we will celebrate our partnership with Escambia High School through the FCA ministry. Please note the volunteer sign-up sheet inserted in the bulletin this morning. Ask God to show you what you can do to support this ministry.  The Gideons International Today at the close of both services, Bill Roloph, representing The Gideons International, will present a brief word from The Gideons. Brochures explaining ways you can provide Bibles are available at the info counter in the church foyer. As you exit the doors this morning you will have an opportunity to provide a gift for The Gideons, as you are led by the Lord. 4:30pm Courageous Living Study begins in the Holy Grounds Cafe. You still have an opportunity to sign up this morning and join the group today. 6:00PM Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Praize Kidz will be presenting Joseph: From the Pit to the Palace, a stomp musical that is filled with drama and rhythm. Joseph's life is presented in a This is your Life setting. Please join us for this special presentation and time of worship at 6pm. Next Sunday . . . is kickoff day for THE MASTER'S LIGHT FORCE (A Great Commission Challenge for Every Member) This 3-month Great Commission Challenge will focus on reaching the lost of our community. We will begin with an International Missions focus. (Please see insert today.) IMB Missionary, Greg Bruckert, will be our guest speaker for the 9:15am and 10:30am worship services. Pastor Robert Morton and members of Shalom Baptist Church, Citronelle, Alabama, will be our guests for the 6pm worship service. Dr. and Mrs. Morton are missionaries to the Choctaw Indians. Dr. Morton will deliver the evening message. Attention VBS Teachers & Workers: We will have our 2012 VBS Amazing Wonders Aviation - Encountering God's Awesome Power training meetings on Sunday afternoon, June 3rd, at 4:30pm and Wednesday evening, June 6th, at 6:00pm. We will meet in room 109. If you have not yet committed to work in VBS this year, this is a good chance to get onboard. Teachers are still needed in the following areas: 5 year olds, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grades. Let our VBS Director, Carol Larsen, know that she can count on you. A list of items needed for VBS refreshment time is available at the VBS table in the foyer. Any of these items that you can donate will be appreciated. You may drop off your donations at the church office. |
