            A Wonder Woman or a Wonderful Woman

                                                               Which will it be?

 

            A Wife of Noble Character

 

            Proverbs 31:10-11

 

            Three Wonderful Women of the Bible

            Two of them are found in the Old Testament and one is found in the New                Testament. They are:

           

            1          Ruth

            2          Esther

            3          Mary, the mother of Jesus

 

            In each of these women we find characteristics that can truly be described as noble. Their lives provide godly examples and inspiration for Christian women today.

 

            Consider Ruth, she had.... FATH MOTIVATED BY LOVE.

 

            Ruth 2: 11-12

 

            Another Wonderful Women

            Consider Esther, she had.... COURAGE MOTIVATED BY                                                                                                   CONVICTION.

 

            Esther 4:12-17

 

            Another Wonderful Example

            Consider Mary, she had.... SUBMISSION MOTIVATED BY                                                                              GRATITUDE.

 

            Luke 1:35-38

 

            God is not looking for wonder women, but He is seeking women who want to live             wonderful lives and leave a wonderful legacy.

THE MASTER'S LIGHT FORCE

(A Great Commission Challenge for Every Member)

This 3-month Great Commission Challenge focusing on reaching the lost of our community will kick off on Sunday, May 27.  

 

We will begin with an International Missions focus.

 

IMB Missionary, Greg Bruckert, will be our guest speaker for the 9:15am and 10:30am worship services.  

 

Pastor Robert Morton and members of Shalom Baptist Church, Citronelle, Alabama, will be our guests for the 6pm worship service. Dr. and Mrs. Morton are missionaries to the Choctaw Indians.  

 

Dr. Morton will bring the evening message.

 

WANTED: Vacation Bible School WorkersDid you know that Vacation Bible School is only five weeks away? "Amazing Wonders - Encountering God's Awesome Power" will begin Monday, June 18th, 9:00am - noon. If you would like to help in VBS this year, please see our Director, Carol Larsen, following the worship service this morning.

 

Graduate recognition will take place on Sunday, June 5, during the 9:15am and 10:30am services. Please submit names of 2011 graduates to the church office, including name of high school or college/university

  

  

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for CSM . . . .

Our Christian Social Ministry serves approximately 100 families each week. Food Pantry volunteers are needed on Tuesday mornings between 8:45 and 11:00 to pack and carry bags and pray with clients. Volunteers may serve on a rotation basis. Sign up on the welcome tab attached to the bulletin or call the church office.
