Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Sunday, April 22, 2012 82nd Anniversary Celebration Please use the Homecoming insert in your bulletin today as a way of spreading the word and inviting family, neighbors, friends, and coworkers to this exciting historical event for our church. HOMECOMING DINNER SUNDAY, APRIL 22 What you need to bring: Each family is asked to bring enough food for your family and extra for guests. Please label your dishes with your name and drop them off at the Family Life Center as you arrive for services. To supplement your dishes, fried chicken, along with a main side dish, as well as drinks and rolls will be provided by the church.

 COMBINED WORSHIP SERVICE and The Lord's Supper Sunday, April 29 - 10:30AM Our entire church family, including our Hispanic Mission, will come together to worship and celebrate The Lord's Supper during this combined worship service. As in the past, whenever we have a combined worship service, Contemporary worshipers will have their fellowship and Bible study time from 9:15am until 10:15am on this day only. Plan to be a part of this exciting celebration. . |

If you are interested in participating you may sign up by writing your name and telephone number on the welcome tab attached to the bulletin, then drop it in the offering plate.

Keenagers...
KEENAGERS: Come enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship on Monday, April 23rd, 2012, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the fellowship hall.
You can bring that special table game you enjoy playing, or just come and sit around and talk with friends.
Coffee/drinks will be provided with dessert.

HISPANIC MISSION NEWS: Summer Activities for Hispanic Children & Youth Our Hispanic youth will make snow cones on Sunday, April 22, during our Homecoming activities. Please stop by their booth with words of encouragement and perhaps consider giving a donation to their summer youth activities. And, of course, enjoy a snow cone. Donations for snow cones will be used to fund summer activities for our Hispanic children and youth. Courageous Living Study Study Focus Areas: Responsibility - serving, protecting, and casting a vision for the family Priorities - focusing on eternal things rather than what is temporary Legacy - recognizing a father's potential impact as a godly role model Faith - increasing in wisdom and strengthening a father's identity in Christ This four week study based on the movie Courageous will begin Sunday, May 20th. Fathers' Day, June 17, we will have another chance for fathers to sign The Resolution. Register for the class in the church foyer. FOR WOMEN: Coming soon ladies will have the opportunity to form their own prayer support groups. More details will be provided in the weeks ahead. Family Sports begins Monday, April 9, in the FLC gym. Family Sports will meet every Monday from 6pm - 7pm. Matt and Mandy Mandrell promise that this will be an enjoyable experience for the entire family. An Invitation from our Student Ministry . . . . Church Family: Join our students on April 11 for our Wednesday night youth service at 6pm. Dr. Allen Fraley will be speaking on the Passover and the richness of our heritage through Christ. |
