40-DAYFOCUS ON THE GREAT HYMNS

"MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE"

Today we continue our 40-Day Celebration focusing on several great hymns and the stories behind the composing of those hymns. Today we focus on the great hymn, Trust and Obey. We will sing this hymn and hear the hymn story. Recruitment for new choir members is going well. So far, SIX new members have joined the choir and SEVEN former members have returned. Wednesday Evening Bible Study


 

Pastor Ron has begun a new Bible study series on the New Testament books of I and II Peter. Join the Pastor in the Worship Center each Wednesday at 6pm as we pray and study God's Word.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, February 7th, 2012, at 10:00 A. M. in the fellowship hall.  

 

Our program will be presented by Mr. Don Miller who will entertain us with some good gospel music.  

 

The committee will provide chili for lunch.  

 

Everyone else should bring a salad and/or dessert.

PRAIZE KIDZ: All children grades 1 through 6 are invited to join the MGBC Praize Kidz as they begin learning a fun but meaningful musical drama called "Joseph, From the Pit to the Palace." The performance is scheduled for May 20. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 6:30pm in room 103. Please join us!
