Lottie Moon Christmas Offering    

Praise the Lord for your giving to the Lottie Moon Offering last month. More than $10,052 was given to date for this International Missions Offering. We still need $1,947 to reach our stated goal. If you have not had an opportunity to give to this offering or if you would like to give again to help us reach this goal, it's not too late. We will receive gifts through the month of January. CHURCH FAMILY BREAKFAST

Fellowship Hall - January 15 - 7:30 AM

The Baptist Men on Mission invite you to our Church Family Breakfast on Sunday morning, January 15.   

The breakfast serving line will begin at 7:30 AM and the meeting will end at 9:00 AM.

Join us for breakfast which will include eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, gravy, hash browns, and biscuits for a cost of $3.00. For information contact Bob Taylor

MEN'S GATHERING: CALLING ALL MEN!

Financial Peace University (FPU) Preview Sessions are scheduled for today, Sunday, January 8th at 5pm and Wednesday, January 11th at 6pm in the Holy Grounds Café. If you are interested in the course but need more information then please attend one of these sessions. The course starts Sunday, January 22nd at 4 pm in the Holy Grounds Café. The cost is $93 which gives you a lifetime membership to the FPU program. The signup sheet is in the foyer on the Discipleship University table. As Dave says: "Live Like No One Else So Later You Can Live Like No One Else"!

Prayers for 2012

Pray that those who made pledges to increase their financial gifts to the general budget this year will follow through with their commitments. Pray that all of our needs financially will be met in 2012.

Pray that God will enable us to pay off our debt this winter. The remaining balance needed to pay off our debt is $76,622.83.

Beginning Sunday, January 22

"MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE"

A 40-day focus on the great hymns of the Christian faith

Beginning in January, we will focus on several great hymns and the stories behind the composing of those hymns. In addition, our pastor will preach messages on the doctrinal truths contained in these hymns of our faith. During the 40-day focus you will hear testimonies from various choir members and church musicians who will share their joy of being a part of our worship team. Finally, there will be a major emphasis on building up our church choir. We will be looking for 15-20 new voices to join the choir   Please be in prayer for this special focus event.
