This is for new members who have recently joined our church family as well as those who may be interested in church membership. (Please see our pastor in the main foyer after the service for more information.)   A light snack supper and childcare is provided. If you would like to attend today, write in the words "Pastor's Class" on the blank lines at the bottom of the Welcome Tab. You may hand this to Pastor Ron as you exit today.

125th Annual Meeting

Pensacola Bay Baptist Association

MGBC members are encouraged to attend the annual meeting of our association. This will be a great opportunity to learn what Southern Baptists are doing in our county as we pool our money with 75 sister churches to accomplish God's mission.

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading: Come and be a part of our Upward Team. Upward is not just a sports league. It is a sports ministry! The purpose of Upward Sports Ministries is to fulfill God's vision that he planned long ago by promoting:

            Salvation - The love of Jesus will be shared with everyone involved in Upward.

            Character - We will help the children grow as Jesus did - spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially.

            Self-Esteem - Every child will be encouraged to grow in their understanding and enjoyment of sports.

We have a place for you! Directors, coaches, assistant coaches, referees, time keepers, concession workers, and prayer partners are needed. See Ron Pouliot to volunteer.

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading registration is now open for boys and girls, grades K through 6, to be a part of our Upward season. Registration fee is only $65 ($75 after October 23rd.) Registration forms are available on the welcome table in the foyer. If you would like to provide a scholarship for a child, please see Ron Pouliot.

Courageous Living Bible Study

A 4-week study beginning Sunday, October 23 @ 4:30pm - Holy Grounds Cafe

This Bible study which is inspired by the movie, Courageous, will be facilitated by Dave & Gay Keighley.

Enroll by writing "Courageous" on the blank lines of the Welcome Tab on the bulletin and drop in the offering plate or turn it in to the church office.

Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Praize Kidz choir is beginning another year of learning more about praising our King Jesus. All children in grades one through six are invited to join the Praize Kidz. Please come! Rehearsals are weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 6:30pm. Grades 1&2 meet in room 101 and grades 3-6 in room 103. For more information, please contact Melissa Westman

FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL: It's just around the corner. On Monday, October 31st from 6:00 - 8:00pm, our church will once again offer the children of the Myrtle Grove and surrounding communities an alternative to trick-or-treat. We need your help in making this a special event for these children. Individually wrapped candy donations are needed. Boxes have been placed in the church office and the FLC.
