Missions/Ministries Fair

This morning during the Bible study hour, for both the contemporary and traditional schedules, church family members are encouraged to attend the Missions/Ministries Fair which will held in our Family Life Center. Approximately 20 presenters will be showcasing our missions/ministries which will provide information as well as ways that members can get connected to serve. God has blessed our church family with both talent and resources. We are truly an Acts 1:8 congregation. Prayerfully consider where the Lord would have you serve. Become aware of the many opportunities that are here within your own church. Refreshments will be served in the gymnasium throughout the Missions/Ministries Fair event.

FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL: It's just around the corner. On Monday, October 31st from 6:00 - 8:00pm, our church will once again offer the children of the Myrtle Grove and surrounding communities an alternative to trick-or-treat. We need your help in making this a special event for these children. Individually wrapped candy donations are needed. Boxes have been placed in the church office and the FLC.

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS DONATIONS!

Please help us restock the shelves by donating non-perishable food items to our Food Pantry. Drop your donations in the boxes located throughout the church facilities. Thank you!

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading: Come and be a part of our Upward Team. Upward is not just a sports league. It is a sports ministry! The purpose of Upward Sports Ministries is to fulfill God's vision that he planned long ago by promoting:

Salvation - The love of Jesus will be shared with everyone involved in Upward.

Character - We will help the children grow as Jesus did - spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially.

Self-Esteem - Every child will be encouraged to grow in their understanding and enjoyment of sports.

We have a place for you! Directors, coaches, assistant coaches, referees, time keepers, concession workers, and prayer partners are needed. See Ron Pouliot to volunteer.

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading Registration: Registration is now open for boys and girls, grades K through 6, to be a part of our Upward season. Registration fee is only $65 ($75 after October 23rd.) Registration forms are available on the welcome table in the foyer. If you would like to provide a scholarship for a child, please see Ron Pouliot.

The Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Praize Kidz choir is beginning another year of learning more about praising our King Jesus. The kids are excited to sing songs of praise and help lead in worship as they seek to honor God. Some of the children will be singing solos, duets, and trios. Others will take part in ensembles, narration parts, and even a praise team as they present worship songs once a month in the morning worship services. One of the best programs the children always look forward to is our Christmas presentation, which will take place on Sunday night, Dec. 11, this year. All children in grades one through six are invited to join the Praize Kidz. Please come! Rehearsals are weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:00 to 6:30pm. Grades 1&2 meet in room 101 and grades 3-6 in room 103. For more information, please call or e-mail Melissa Westman
