Myrtle Grove Baptist ChurchSept 11, 2011
Greetings!

TODAY . . . .

REMEMBRANCE SERVICE

As a part of our worship service today we welcome Dr. Jerry Barlow, Dean of Graduate Studies and Professor of Preaching and Pastoral Work at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Barlow will be delivering the morning message along with special presentations by the Naval Air Technical Training Center Color Guard and the NJROTC Color Guard from Escambia High School.

As most of you know this is the tenth anniversary of 9/11. America remembers the tragedy that took place ten years ago as America was attacked by terrorists. Today we honor those in our community who are truly the unsung heroes when tragedy strikes our cities. (Please see the insert in the bulletin today introducing these guests.) Our goal this morning is not only to remember the tragedy that occurred ten years ago, but also to lift up the hope that we have through Christ Jesus Our Lord.

Sincerely,
Myrtle Grove
