at a cost of $2.7 million, voted on and approved

3 2004 A Great Spiritual Harvest
Over 118 people baptized followed by a tremendous ministry to our community in the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan.

4 2007-2009 Financial recession hits us hard; down to our last dollar. Yet, through the power of prayer the Lord provides and through the power of prayer we developed a millennial outreach/contemporary worship service to meet the needs of a younger generation.

5 2010 The Lord provides financial resources for us to acquire three acres of new property and buildings debt free.

6 2011 Through the Strength Team evangelic event, we experienced a great spiritual harvest baptizing the largest number on a single event (30 persons on one Sunday morning alone).

Through All These Challenging Years
Lastly, the Lord has enabled us to meet all of our mission offering goals as well as sending mission teams to do projects outside of our Jerusalem.
4 When we become a house of prayer, things not only happen externally but also internally.
5 Philippians 3:7-11
6 As the Apostle Paul pursued God, he found himself changing. The love of God filled his heart. He was becoming a new man.
When we pursue God in prayer and worship, we will change. Our attitude will become like that of Christ Jesus.

Missions......
 TODAY . . . . During both morning worship services we will have a Send-off Prayer for the mission team leaving on July 22 for Glenvar, Virginia, to assist Marco and Jessica Smith in a new church start. The first official worship service for Green Hill Baptist Church will be held on Sunday, July 31. Pray for our mission team as they travel and minister in Virginia. THANK YOU! On behalf of the Virginia Missions Team, we would like to publicly thank Lorna Browning and her workers for a wonderful luncheon last Sunday. A huge thank you is in order for all lthose who participated and/or gave donations. Thank you so much. We were blessed with more than $1,130 in proceeds. To God be the glory! School Days...School Days....
 Will You Help Share the Love of Jesus? School will soon be back in session and many of our area children will need help in obtaining their school supplies. As in previous years, we are now collecting school supplies to be given to our Partners in Education at Myrtle Grove and Sherwood Elementary Schools. A list of the needed supplies is available at the Welcome Desk. |

Bowling - Aug 3rd - 6:30 PM
 Come and Enjoy a Night of Bowling: MGBC Children's Ministry is sponsoring a family night of recreation and enjoyment at Circle Lanes on Wednesday, August 3rd from 6:30-8:30pm. Flyers are located in the Sunday School Departments and on the welcome desk in the worship center foyer. Deadline to sign up and pay is Sunday, July 31st. Our Deaf Ministry is growing -- PRAISE THE LORD! In order to meet the needs of our deaf members and visitors, we will need additional volunteers. If you know a little or a lot of ASL, we can use your help in some way. Please contact Mary. Please continue to pray for this important ministry! It's not too late to join in . . . . Pastor's Wednesday Night Bible Study! Our pastor has begun a study on the Gospel of Matthew. This study will focus on the life and teaching of our Lord Jesus. Matthew's gospel has been considered by many scholars to be a manual on Christian discipleship. JOIN US each Wednesday at 6pm in the Worship Center!
