Once again I would like to encourage each member to plan to bring a sacrificial gift above the tithe on this Celebration Sunday.  Pastor Ron 

  Two areas for our consideration would be:

A sacrificial gift to the general budget or a gift to help retire our debt

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (AAEO)

MGBC AAEO Goal:  $6,000

Received to date:  $2,235.75

MGBC FOOD PANTRY:  Please consider giving a sacrificial gift, above your tithes and offerings, to our Food Pantry! Our food supply is low at this time.  Checks should be made out to Myrtle Grove Baptist Church with the notation "Food Pantry" on the memo line.  Thank you!  Jerry Butler

WOMEN'S & FAMILY FITNESS PROGRAM. 

You may register at the Information Table in the foyer for the upcoming fitness opportunities to begin in April in the Family Life Center.

Wednesday Night Bible Study:

 "If God Is Good Then Why Is There Suffering and Evil in the World."

The topic for Wednesday, March 23 is "Exploring Original Sin and Our Human Sin Nature."  Please join us each Wednesday night at 6pm in the worship center as we journey together through this study discovering God's purpose for our lives.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt 

We are only five weeks away from our annual hunt and we need your help!  We need individually wrapped candy to fill more than 2,500 plastic eggs.

  We will be filling the eggs on Monday, April 18th. 

  Please bring your candy to the church office or to the FLC before April 17th.   

If you would like to help at this year's festivities, please let Ron Pouliot know soon. 

   The Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 23rd at 9:00am.

Church-wide Picnic & Baptism in the Bay

Sunday, April 3, 2011 @ 1pm

Blue Angel Naval Recreation Area

Mark your calendars for our next Picnic & Baptism in the Bay.  

Plan to bring your lawn chairs and enjoy good food, good fellowship

and view the Baptism in the Bay on April 3rd at 1:00 PM.   

Menu will be hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings along with drinks.  

The park entrance fee has already been paid.  

Your cost is only $5.00 for adults & $3.00 for children age 10 and under.

Please pay in advance.   

Checks should be made payable to MGBC (write PICNIC in the memo area) and should be given to Cami Simmons in the church office.

Easter Lilies are available for $10 each.  You can request them for your friends and loved ones as memorials or honorariums.  Please fill out an Easter Lilies form, which is available on the counter in the front lobby, and turn it in to Cami Simmons in the Finance Office.  The deadline for ordering is Wednesday, April 13.  Thank you.

GA BAKE SALE:  The GA's will be having a Bake Sale on Sunday, March 27th after the 10:30am service in the fellowship hall. Baked items are needed for the bake sale. If you are able to help, please contact Carol Larsen at 453-5658. The donations received from the Bake Sale go towards sending GA's to Camp WorldLight this summer in Marianna, Florida. Thank you!

Student Ministry: 

Do you desire to grow as a parent, grandparent or youth mentor? Then CLEAR YOUR CALENDAR! On Saturday, April 2nd, from 9:30-11:30am we are hosting a parenting workshop entitled "How to Better Communicate with Your Kids." There is no charge for the workshop, so spread the word. The speaker will be Jim Trent, Director of Counseling for the PBBA and Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Family Mediator.  More information to come.
