Greetings!
TODAY . . . .WELCOME to our special guests for the 10:30am worship service. They are Malcolm Thomas, Escambia County Superintendent of Schools, David Morgan, Sheriff of Escambia County, and John Fuller, Regional Director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
TONIGHT . . . .We will kick off our
24-hour DAY OF PRAYER & FASTING.
Our focus will be Prayerwalking around the church buildings.We will meet in the worship center at 6pm for scripture and hymns and then we will go in groups for prayerwalking.

ORIENTATION FOR STRENGTH TEAM EVENT VOLUNTEERS Tuesday, February 1 - 6pm Mike Hagen, Leader of the Strength Team, will conduct this orientation for all Strength Team Event volunteers. PARKING: MGBC members are asked to park in the back parking lot and on the new property during the Strength Team Event. The front parking areas will be reserved for guests and others attending each evening, Wednesday through Saturday. NOTE: All Sunday and Wednesday activities for children and youth will be cancelled next week in order to allow children and youth to attend the Strength Team Events. Nursery will not be provided except for Sunday morning. |

KEENAGERS: Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 1st, 2011, at 10am in the fellowship hall. Our committee members will provide chili for lunch; members are requested to bring a salad and/or dessert. Our program will be presented by Mr. Charlie Blackwell, a motivational humorist. If you signed up and have not paid the $24.00 for "The Kingston Trio" show in Gulf Shores on February 7th, 2010, please do so ASAP to Neil Thorsen. If you have not signed up and would like to go, I have three (3) unsold tickets. Help Wanted: Lead Nursery Worker to be responsible for staffing preschool childcare for volunteers and paid workers for church services and other scheduled church activities. ASL Sign Language Class will run for six weeks. The class is free. We are using the book entitled, "The Joy of Signing", which costs about $25 at local book stores. If you are interested in attending, please contact Mary Creighton Come have fun as you learn to communicate with the deaf.
