Greetings!
WELCOME JEREMY & JAMIE PHILLIPS!
Our new
Student Minister, Jeremy Phillips and his wife
Jamie, begin their ministry with us today.
They arrived on Wednesday, September 1, and
are busy settling in here in Pensacola.
Jeremy
will deliver the message tonight at our 6pm evening worship service.
A
reception is planned in honor of Jeremy & Jamie immediately after the
evening service in the fellowship hall.
Also TODAY . . . .
LIFE COURSE 101 will be held from 5pm til 7pm in the
Fellowship Hall. This course, taught by Pastor Ron
Lentine, is for new members as well as anyone interested in joining Myrtle
Grove Baptist Church. A light supper and
childcare are provided at no cost. You
may sign up on the blank lines at the bottom of the welcome tab on the
bulletin. Tear off and drop it in the
offering plate.

Keenagers:
Our next meeting will be Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
Our program will be presented by Mr. Al
Martin, playing the keyboard.
Please
bring a covered dish and/or dessert that will go with fried chicken.
We still need a few more folks to sign up for
the Nashville trip, if you know of anyone who might be interested.

5th.

As you know from the
previous week's Missions Speak, Jess and I are currently in Virginia
looking to plant another church. I will share more details next week in regards
to our own personal journey. In this article I would like to attempt to answer
the question 'Why church plant in North America?'

Property Dedication - Sept 12th

Dedication
of Our New Property has been Rescheduled for September 12 -
Due to
the bad weather conditions last Sunday, the dedication ceremony for our new
property is postponed until Sunday, September 12.
On that
Sunday we will dismiss our worship service 15 minutes earlier (at 11:30am) for the purpose of assembling
outside on the grounds to dedicate our newly acquired property to the
Lord.
Our contemporary Bible fellowship
groups (adults and youth) will also dismiss their small groups at the same time
and join us for the assembly.
The
dedication will be brief (10 minutes) so that our membership will not be
exposed to the heat of the sun.
Please
plan to stay for this special dedication as we thank the Lord for this great
gift!

Wednesday Nights...
A place to be.....
Wednesday Nights at Myrtle Grove Baptist
There is something for the whole family
here at MGBC every Wednesday night beginning with supper at 5pm followed by adult,
youth, and childrens activities at 6pm.
Adults can attend the Pastor's Genesis Bible study in the worship center while students worship in the Butler Chapel basement
with our new Student Minister, Jeremy Phillips.
Praize Kidz choir (in room 103) and preschool choir (in FLC) also meet at 6pm followed by
activities in the FLC.
NOTE: Nursery/Preschool childcare is available from
5:30pm - 8:30pm every Wednesday
evening.

Fall Family Festival......
Boo...!
FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL: It's just around the corner.
On
Sunday, October 31st from 5:00 - 7:00pm, our church will once again
offer the children of the Myrtle Grove and surrounding communities an
alternative to trick-or-treat.
We need
your help in making this a special event for these children.
Individually wrapped candy donations are
needed.
Boxes have been placed in the
church office and the FLC.
