MGBC Missions Committee Prepare to Go Project: Missions Speak!   Last week 8/15/2010, we ended by asking, - Why do you think we are trying to help you?   Please read on to see if your answer is similar to ours, as follows:   Over these past weeks, we have considered:  a) The Great Commission, b) Missions involvement as a Church, c) the fact that God's plan for 'making disciples' is that we participate together, to love each other, and together learn of Him by studying, and working together in a Church.  We, you & I, are the Myrtle Grove segment of 'HIS' Church'!   d) We have spoken of the unreached, the UPG's of the World.  Perhaps we were surprised to note the term UPG is applicable even here in this Western Hemisphere!    These are all reasons for our endeavor to help You Prepare-To-Go, even if it just around the corner.  Many of our contemporaries are 'serving', but some of us have not yet decided that they are prepared.   Even a cursory review of the Scripture reveals that regardless of our age, (youth, adult, senior), and station in life, God says that involvement Missions is not an option, it is a mandate!
