Church-wide Picnic & Baptism in the Bay

Picnic will begin at approximately 1pm at Blue Angel Naval Recreation Area.

The menu will be the same as last year - hamburgers, hotdogs, all the trimmings, and drinks.

 Cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children (10 years and under).

If you have not already paid for your food, you may do so at the picnic pavillion when you arrive.

 Directions to the Blue Angel Naval Recreation Area are available at the information counter in the main foyer.

Please help yourself. Just follow the crowd at the close of the worship service.
At the entrance you may drop off your guest registration tabs at the greeter's table and sign up for a Small Bible Fellowship Group.

Bake Sale - GA's

bake sale The GA's are sponsoring a Bake Sale on Sunday, May 23rd after the 10:30 worship service in the fellowship hall.

We are asking for baked items such as cookies, pies, brownies, breads, and cakes to be donated for this event.

 All donations received for items will go towards GA's that are planning to attend Camp WorldLight in Marianna, Florida in June.

Myrtle Grove Baptist will be honoring our 2010 high school graduates at the 9:15am worship service and college graduates at the 10:30am worship service next Sunday.

Please call the church office and provide the names of your graduates as well as the name of their school or university.

We are proud of our young adults and want to encourage each of them in a very special way.

  PRAIZE KIDZ Children's Choir: PaRaBLeLooZa!
It's a new game show that's wild and fun, learning from the parables of God's Son.

The Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Praize Kidz will present "PaRaBLeLooZa!," a musical game show sharing the parables of Jesus in a fun and exciting way.

So come on down, it's time to play PaRaBLeLooZa!, the parable game, May 23, during the 6:00pm Sunday evening worship service.

Bring your family, friends and neighbors for a night of inspiring fun.
 
Hurricane Season starts in ....

ivan Disaster Relief & Recovery Ministry Training

The time is growing short to sign up to participate in the training program for Florida Disaster Relief.

The training is Saturday, June 5th at Cinco Baptist Church in Ft. Walton.

The church bus will leave the church at 7am.

 If you wish to caravan, please be at the church no later than 7am.

This training is required by emergency management officials and certifies you as an official volunteer.

The fee for first timers is $30.00 and $15.00 for returning members.

 Price includes background check fees, lunch, training materials, credentialing ID badge, T-shirt, hat, and lapel pin.

Anyone 16 years and older is eligible to participate.

 Please pray about this most important contribution that prepares you to personally make a difference in someone's life.

Please let Pastor Chris Larsen, Bro. Patrick McCann, or Virgil Oldham know if you wish to add your name to the list.

Beach Retreat for Single Young Adults

beachball BEACH RETREAT for Single Young Adults (ages 19-20 something) @ Fort Morgan, Alabama -

Beginning @ 6pm on Thursday, June 10 through 11am on Saturday, June 12.

Food, ice breakers, games, and Bible study will be enjoyed by all who attend.

 Bible study sessions will be led by Eric Miracle, Minister to Students at Olive Baptist Church.


Reservations are due by June 6. Space is limited.
