Real Estate Committee's recommendation concerning the purchasing of the property behind our church.

 

Church-wide Picnic & Baptism in the Bay
Next Sunday - May 16

Picnic will begin at approximately 1pm at Blue Angel Naval Recreation Area.

The menu will be the same as last year - hamburgers, hotdogs, all the trimmings, and drinks.

Cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children (10 years and under).

You may make out your check to Myrtle Grove Baptist Church, designated for church-wide picnic.

 Place your payment in the offering plate or bring it by the church office during the week (Attention: Cami Simmons, Financial Secretary).

The registration, plus your payment, is important so that we may have an accurate number for food preparation and cost.

If the picnic is cancelled due to the recent oil spill in the gulf, your money will be refunded.

Mother's Day. . . . Once again we have the privilege of honoring all of our mothers here at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.

This year, please consider doing something extra special for the mother in your life.

 This fall, October 15-16, the Fresh Grounded Faith Conference for Women will be held here in Pensacola at Hillcrest Baptist Church.

A special pre-registration discount on tickets for this event is available now (early-bird special $29 per person for groups of ten or more).

Men, fathers, husbands,and adult children, plan now to pre-register the mom in your life.

 Today a registration table is available in the foyer. You may sign up to reserve your space today.

 We are asking you only to register today. All registration fees will be due by June 6.

 To make your payment, please make out your check to Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.

You may drop off your check to Cami Simmons (Financial Secretary) at her office or you may mail it in to the church (Attention: Cami, Financial Secretary).

Student  Ministries . . . .
BEACH RETREAT for Single Young Adults (ages 19-20 something) @ Fort Morgan, Alabama - Beginning @ 6pm on Thursday, June 10 through 11am on Saturday, June 12.

 Food, ice breakers, games, and Bible study will be enjoyed by all who attend.

 Bible study sessions will be led by Eric Miracle, Minister to Students at Olive Baptist Church.

 Reservations are due by June 6.

Space is limited.

 You may call the church office to register and for more information.

There will be online registration available on Saturday, May 8th.

There is no cost to attend the retreat for the registrants.

The Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Youth Committee has studied options for a high quality camp experience this summer and we are excited to bring you this opportunity.

PRAIZE KIDZ Children's Choir: It's a new game show that's wild and fun, learning from the parables of God's Son,

 PaRaBLeLooZa! The Myrtle Grove Baptist Church Praize Kidz will present "PaRaBLeLooZa!," a musical game show sharing the parables of Jesus in a fun and exciting way.

 So come on down, it's time to play PaRaBLeLooZa!, the parable game, May 23, during the 6:00pm Sunday evening worship service.

 Bring your family, friends and neighbors for a night of inspiring fun

 

 

It's not too early to "Saddle Up" for Vacation Bible School.

Pick up registration forms at the info counter and return completed registration forms to the church office.

Again this year, Myrtle Grove Baptist will be honoring our 2010 high school and college graduates.


Please call the church office and provide the names of your graduates as well as the name of their school or university.

We are proud of our young adults and want to encourage each of them in a very special way.

 

Disaster Relief & Recovery Ministry Training

There may be a seat or two left on the bus or room with folks driving down for the Disaster Relief training taking place in Ft. Walton Beach on Saturday, June 5th.

Your community needs your help as well as the many communities surrounding us.

Please remember that our hurricane season is just around the corner.  (21 days away)

We need to prepare and educate our teams.
 There is something for everyone young and more mature as well as male or female.

Please become a part of one of the most worthwhile projects we have in our association that we can be a personal part of.
