LIFE COURSE 101
TONIGHT in the church fellowship hall from 5pm-7pm, we will offer our Life Course 101, "Introduction to Church Membership" course. This course is designed for both new members of our church as well as persons who are interested in church membership. Childcare and light supper provided at no charge. You may sign up on the welcome tab attached to the bulletin. Simply write "Life 101" and your name on the blank lines on the welcome tab.

 

80th Church Anniversary
& Dinner on the Grounds
We will celebrate our 80th anniversary on Sunday, April 25 with HOMECOMING & DINNER ON THE GROUNDS in the Family Life Center. The church will provide barbeque ribs and chicken, rolls and drinks. Families are asked to bring vegetables, salads, and desserts. Please RSVP in one of the following ways: Sign up on the blank lines at the bottom of the welcome tab attached to the Sunday bulletin; call the church office (455-7389) or sign up on the church website @ www.myrtlegrovebaptist.org.

 

FAITH Evangelism . . . . SHARING OUR STORIES WITH OUR COMMUNITY
Any member can be involved on any Tuesday night that you choose. Simply come at 6pm to be involved in our neighborhood blitz. Each week we will choose a different neighborhood to canvass in the distribution of our church packets. If you plan to come to supper at 5:30pm, please call the church office by Monday for a reservation.

 

NURSERY/PRESCHOOL FOCUS - Sunday, April 18
This will be a time for our church family to focus on our nursery/preschool division and the need for volunteers to serve the most vulnerable of our church family. Efforts will be made to recruit additional workers and teachers for the coming year. A brunch and workshop is planned for Saturday, May 1. Guidelines and motivational messages will be presented at the workshop for those volunteers who sign up to work in the nursery/preschool division.

 

MEN'S PROJECT MINISTRY: Jim Helton, Associate Director of Men's Ministry, is looking for men in our church who would be willing to serve our fellowship by providing monthly ministry projects to our senior adults. If you are interested in being a part of this opportunity, you may sign up today following the morning worship service at the sign-up table in the foyer.
