Student Mission Group....
   COMING NEXT WEEK. . . .
Students from University of North Carolina Baptist Student Union will visit MyrtleGroveBaptistChurch, March 6-12.  These students are coming, at their own expense, to minister in various areas of our community.  Pray as plans are developed for opportunities of ministry for these students.  They will take part in our worship services next Sunday morning.

40 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING FOR A FINANCIAL BREAKTHROUGH
Please continue to be in prayer for your fellow church members that God will bless each family financially in this new year of 2010.  In addition, please be praying each week for God to guide you in terms of what the Lord would have you to give on our Great Day of Giving, Palm Sunday, March 28.  Remember this special offering on Palm Sunday is to be above your regular giving (tithe).  Keep the following in your prayers each day.
1.  Pray for those in our fellowship who need jobs and/or increases in their financial income, that God would provide.
2.  Pray for our Great Day of Giving that God will bless us with a great offering for the general budget.
3.  Pray about your mission gift to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.

4.  Pray for the remaining money needed for the land purchase (3 acres located behind our church facility).  The money in our land account is currently $87,000.  Money still needed is approximately $85,000.  Pray that God will supply this amount through his people (if it be God's will).
Keenagers......
KEENAGERS: Our next meeting will be Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. The program will be Mr. Carl Jackson with Gulf Power Co. Members are requested to bring a covered dish and/or dessert.  Also invite a friend to come with you. For additional information, contact Neil Thorsen, or any member of the committee.

Easter Egg Hunt..........
Annual Easter Egg Hunt:  We are only five weeks away from our annual hunt and we need your help!  We need individually wrapped candy to fill more than 2,500 plastic eggs.  Anchor Club members from Escambia High will once again be helping us fill the eggs.  Since their spring break is the week before the hunt, we will be filling the eggs on Wednesday, March 24th.  Please bring your candy to the church office or to the FLC before March 21st.  If you would like to help at this year's festivities, please let Ron Pouliot know soon.   The Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 3rd at 9:00am.

Sincerely,

Myrtle Grove

HAITIAN RELIEF: For more information, go by the Prayer Table and pick up materials.  (Do not attach $10 to the bucket, rather bring your $10 to the church office along with your bucket.)  Money will be placed in the bank until time to ship buckets to Miami.  Special note for our senior adults:  Our student missionaries from the University of North Carolina will be available next week to provide a pick-up service for our senior adults for the Buckets of Hope.  These buckets are quite heavy so rather than you carrying these buckets to the church, just call the church office to have your bucket picked up.
