IN-HOUSE CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP KICKOFF

Today we will kick off our in-house Contemporary Worship Schedule for MGBC members.  Remember, the community-wide launch for our contemporary worship service will be next Sunday, October 4 at 9:15am.

Pastor Ron encourages all of our members to invite neighbors, friends, co-workers, and family to join us on this historical day.

By the way, have you shared your new church brochure with an unchurched friend or family member?

Please remember that the best advertisement for MGBC is word of mouth.

Invite someone this week to church next Sunday.

Also, today the Holy Grounds cafe (the coffee fellowship area for the contemporary Bible Fellowship groups) will be open during the transition time, from 10:15am to 10:40am.

Those who attend the blended worship service are welcome to come and enjoy some coffee and see the newly refurbished old nursery building.

This building will also be open today at 11:45am after the worship service, so come by and take a look

Church Treasurer
Bennett Results of the Vote:

The results of the church vote indicated a clear majority for the Nominating Committee's recommendation to appoint Tony Bennett as our new Church Treasurer for the 2009-2010 church calendar year.
Please pray for Tony as he assumes this new responsibility.

In addition, we would like to thank Dave Keighley who served faithfully for the past two years in that position.  May God bless you, Dave, for your faithfulness and leadership during the challenging economic times that we have faced as a church and a nation.
