Greetings!
TODAY, 10:30AM
The music ministry of MGBC will present a special morning of music.
TONIGHT, 6PM
The church family is invited back tonight during the evening worship for a special (call-to-prayer) event.
Following a brief time together in the worship center, members will receive instructions and then break away in smaller groups to prayerwalk our facilities.
This will be done in preparation for our millennial outreach launch on September 27.

INFORMATION CONCERNING . . . .
MINISTRY OF PRAYER
Today after the 10:30am worship service you will have an opportunity to sign up at the prayer info table for one hour of prayer at home.
September 25 & 26, Friday @ 6:30pm through Saturday @ 6:30pm MGBC members are asked to participate in a 24-hour time period of prayer and fasting event sponsored by the Pensacola Bay Baptist Association.

IN-HOUSE CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP KICKOFF
Today (Sept 20th)
Today, immediately following the 10:30am worship service another opportunity is provided for you to sign up at the info table in the foyer for an Adult Bible Fellowship group.
This is for those individuals who will be switching to the contemporary worship schedule only.
Next Sunday, September 27:
We will kick off our in-house Contemporary Worship Schedule for MGBC members.
Remember, the community-wide launch for our contemporary worship service will be October 4 at 9:15am.
I encourage all of our members to invite neighbors, friends, co-workers, and family to join us on this historical day.
Also, next Sunday, September 27, the Holy Grounds cafe (the coffee fellowship area for the contemporary Bible Fellowship groups) will be open during the transition time, from 10:15am to 10:40am.
Those who attend the blended worship service are welcome to come and enjoy some coffee and see the newly refurbished old nursery building. |
Monthly Business Meeting:
September 23 @ 6pm in the worship center
A report will be given and a vote will be taken concerning the installation of a KVAR Energy Controller (KEC TM) in the FLC.

A video clip about mission work being done in the State of Florida will be shown on Wednesday night, September 23 at 6pm following the Business Meeting.

MISSION TEAM
September 27, 2009
Sunday, September 27 @ 10:30am our mission team which recently returned from Indonesia will share briefly in the morning worship. At 6pm, members are invited back that evening to hear an expanded and more detailed report of their trip which will include video clips, testimonies, and a missions challenge for all of us.

Keenagers going on the Atlanta trip to the Georgia Aquarium are reminded that we leave at 7am on September 28 from the church back parking lot. We will wear our Kennager outfits on the second day. Any questions, call Don Young
If you are going on the October 23rd, 2009 day trip to the "Oak Hollow Farm" in Fairhope, Alabama, you can sign up and pay Neil Thorsen. The cost is $25.00 per person, which includes lunch and transportation. (Tuesday, October 6 will be the cut off date to receive your payment for this trip.) It will be a full day of fun, fellowship, and food. We only have a very few seats left on the bus.
