   Pre-Enrollment handouts for the
           Contemporary Bible Study are included in
           the bulletin today.

The following is important information for those who serve on committees pertaining to the new Contemporary Worship schedule.

 Please take special note of the time and place of these training meetings if you serve on one of these committees.

 
 Contemporary Bible Fellowship Group Teacher Training with John McGinnis will meet at 4pm in Fellowship Hall. 

Audiovisual/Powerpoint Committee will meet at 4:30pm in the office workroom.

Greeters for the Contemporary Schedule and the Traditional Schedule will meet at 4:30pm in Room 109. 

 Holy Grounds Coffee Fellowship Committee will meet at 4:30pm in Room 109 along with the Greeters.  After a short time together the coffee fellowship committee will relocate to the old nursery suite.

September 20, 2009 - 7:30 AM

    The Baptist Men on Mission invite you to our Brotherhood Breakfast on Sunday morning, September 20, 2009.

 The breakfast serving line will begin at 7:30 AM and the meeting will end at 8:30 AM.   We will have eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, gravy, hash browns, and biscuits.

    Speakers:  The Mission Team will discuss their recent trip to Indonesia. Be sure to join us and hear how the Gospel is spread around the world.

    The cost is $2.00 for adults, no charge for children. For information contact Bob Taylor

    A donation will be taken for the MGBC Food Pantry.

   Please bring at least one item for the MGBC Food Pantry

Sunday, September 20:

    10:30am:  The music ministry of MGBC will present A Morning of Praise & Worship with a focus on God's presence and His holiness.  
    6pm:  We will focus on prayer as we Prayerwalk our church facilities.

Friday & Saturday, September 25 & 26:
 

    Our church will participate in a church-wide 24-hour Prayer & Fasting event sponsored by the Pensacola Bay Baptist Association.  Times of this Prayer & Fasting are from 6:30pm on Friday until 6:30pm on Saturday.

Sunday, September 27: 

    10:30am:  After the morning worship service members will have an opportunity to sign up to pray at home as well as in our Prayer Room.  In addition, members of our Indonesian Mission Team will share a brief testimony of their recent trip.  
   6pm:  Our mission team will continue with their report concerning their recent trip to the Island of Java.


 
Contemporary Contemporary Worship Coming Soon

  Our in-house contemporary worship kickoff will be on Sunday, September 27 at 9:15am in the main worship center. 

Members assigned to small Bible fellowship groups will have a chance to meet their new teachers before the community-wide launch.

  Our community-wide launch will be Sunday, October 4 at 9:15am.  This will be an opportunity to welcome many new people who will be in attendance.

  Deacon/Yokefellow Breakfast:  Saturday, September 26 @ 7am in fellowship hall.

   Deacon/Yokefellow Meeting:  Monday, September 28 @ 7pm in fellowship hall.

All Active and Inactive Deacons, Yokefellows, and their families are encouraged to attend a Fish Fry in the Fellowship Hall at 6pm on 19 September 2009.  If you can, bring a dish to go with the fish.  Please RSVP to Kevin Simmons, 497-1094 or Robert Smith, 453-4100 by 16 September 2009.

Busy streets

Volunteers are needed to serve as Outside Greeters/Traffic Control on Sunday mornings on a rotating basis.  Please see Ricky Lake for more information.

Just around the corner - Sat., Oct 31st - 5:00-7:00 PM  - FLC.  As a alternative to Trick & Treat this community outreach event is offered each year. 

Individually wrapped candy is needed (tons). 

 Boxes have been placed around the church and in the FLC - Thank You!
