School Supplies
Will You Help Share the Love of Jesus?

School will soon be back in session and many of our area children will need help in obtaining their school supplies.  As in previous years, we are now collecting school supplies to be given to our "Partners in Education" at Myrtle Grove & Sherwood Elementary Schools.

Jesus said in Matthew 25:40,  The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me"

The following items are needed:

Pencils, pencil-top erasers, pencil boxes, red ink pens, highlighters, duo-tang folders, backpacks, white copy paper, kleenex, paper towels, hand sanitizer.

Many of the other items {paper, crayons, markers, etc.} are provided to the schools through the "Cram the Van" program.

Please bring your school supplies to the Church Office or to the Minister to Children & Families' Office located in the Family Life Center before Monday, August 31st .

For His Kids,

Spreading the Word:
Spread the Good News
Beginning next Sunday morning and following through the month of August, our pastor will be focusing his sermons on the topic of our call to evangelize our world.

Our theme will be "Spreading the Word."

Under the umbrella of that theme we will be looking at such topics as The Christian's Responsibility to:

1.  Evangelize the lost (Getting the word out)
2.  Prayer as it relates to spiritual warfare
3.  Learning to be givers as it relates to furthering the Kingdom of God in our city and around the world.

Don't miss one of these exciting Sundays in August.
