Greetings!
Happy Birthday USA - 233 years old this weekend. Some would say that we are battered and broken. Others say the best is yet to come. The photo on the left showing generational differences in ages makes a powerful statement. Standing in front of the Ten Commandments, holding our folded flag both the grandfather and grandson seem to reflect a special reverence for our country and God. Generational changes are constant - The Word of God never changes.. Please join us at MGBC this Sunday as Pastor Ron brings a timely message.
God Bless America
Sunday Evening at 6:00 PM Rev Kenny Craig will lead our "Youth Led" service in Butler Chapel.

| Milliennial Outreach Information
Today (Sunday, July 5th) you will be receiving the question/answer handouts concerning the contemporary worship service. Deacons will be at the exit doors with these handouts at the close of this morning's worship hour. Please make sure you pick up your copy and prayerfully look it over. There will be an opportunity for a question/answer gathering this month on July 19. (Please read below.)
The final presentation and church-wide vote for the Millennial Outreach/Contemporary Worship launch will be in 3 phases.
PHASE 1
Sunday, July 12:
· Next Sunday our special guests will be the praise and worship team from First Baptist Church of Pensacola. They will provide special music and testimonies during the 10:30am worship service. Their contemporary worship praise team will give our members an opportunity to experience what our contemporary worship will look like and sound like. · In addition, final presentation handouts from the steering committee will be made available for our church family.
PHASE 2
Sunday, July 19:
· A question/answer time concerning the steering committee's recommendations will be held for our church family at 4:30pm in the main worship center. This will be the final opportunity to ask any questions pertaining to the millennial outreach/contemporary worship ministry.
PHASE 3
Sunday, July 26:
· A brief special called business session will take place at the close of the 10:30am worship service. The final vote will be taken by secret ballot, with no discussion. |

40 Days of Prayer & Fasting Continues.....
For Our Millennial Outreach/Contemporary Worship Schedule
I hope you have already made your commitment to be a part of the Prayer & Fasting journey. This coming week choose a 24-hour period (perhaps a sundown to sundown timeframe) in which you can commit to prayer and fasting. Don't forget, you can pick a prayer and fasting guide on the prayer info table in the church foyer. Your prayers can make a difference. God has already shown us, this year, what corporate prayer can do. We want our Millennial Outreach to be a great success; prayer and fasting is the key to make that happen. I am counting on you. Pastor Ron

Thank You
to everyone that supported the Brotherhood Spaghetti dinner and cake auction last Sunday. With your donations we were able to clear almost $500.00 that will help support the food bank. Special thanks goes out to Barabara Kemble and her crew for preparing the food. Another special thanks goes out to Missy for donating all those cakes. The excess food was taken to Loaves and Fishes to help with feeding the homeless that come there for food. The management there stated that when food gets low, God always sends someone with food. Not only did we help our food bank, we helped feed the homeless through this ministry. God is good all the time. Bob Taylor

Email/Website Information
Email: When you send an email for the 1st time to someone with a mgbc email address: (i.e. - webmaster@myrtlegrovebaptist.org) A "verification" system to help prevent spam and automatic robots kicks in. This happens only one time. you will receive a e-mail from our system simply asking you to reply to the message - no additional action is needed on your part. You don't even have to type anything - just hit reply. The automated system then releases your email to the person you are sending it to - now and forever more. If you do not respond to the 'challenge' the person you are sending the email to at MGBC will not get the email. Additional information can be found by clicking here.True spam is almost always sent by automatic robot systems - and typically they do not respond to the verification process as the process requires real people to complete the action. While the verification process is an additional step and at times some folks may not recognize what it is the system has reduced spam to the mgbc system by 98% over the past 21 months. A listing of all the MGBC email addresses is found here.
