I've been thinking about writing this post for a while. I talk to so many readers and clients who tell me all kinds of stories about how fast they got sidetracked in their renovation when they started collecting opinions from friends and family.
I am definitely guilty of opinion shopping. Especially when it's not my area of expertise. Sometimes I've even been accused of being a seat cushion (you know, whoever sat down last leaves the last impression).
