February 2010
Greetings!
It's February and although we have Love Day to celebrate it's still wintery and dark in many places so this month I thought I would give you my best tips to Embrace the Dark Side of your House and help you create some atmosphere in your home!
As always my sidebar (right) features my best posts of the month including a review of Small Space Layout; Sofa & Two Chairs vs. a Loveseat.
The intention of this newsletter is to take some of the mystery out of selecting colour for your home and help you create a space that fills you with happiness every time you walk in!

Embrace the Dark Side of your House; Lighting 101 |
My inspiration for this months 'special article', especially for my very special newsletter subscribers (that's you) was a video by Ron Marvin where he confessed to being a 'Lamp Tramp' (I am one too). In his 250 square foot chic, New York City apartment, he has eleven lamps!
When helping my clients decorate and style their homes, the biggest missing home decor item is most commonly lamps. And it's because lamps can be just as difficult to find as accessories so most people buy the 3-in-a-box package from a big box store along with a torchier floor lamp and call it a day.
