Greetings!
Search diligently Early in the new year of 2011, we will hear the prophet's words coming to us, "Arise, shine, for your light has come." (Is 60:1) After the good news of Christmas has stirred us anew to know once more Jesus' presence in our world, we are to live as people who are aware of the great light of God, in the person of His Son, Our Lord. So the command, "Go, and search diligently for the child" (even though these words come from the mouth of Herod), can motivate us to find Christ in our surroundings, in circumstances of daily living, and in other people in whom the Lord finds a disguise. Let us find Christ and keep Him close to us this year.
