What is the Fairfax Volleyball Club?

The Fairfax Volleyball Club was founded in 1979 to serve the Northern Virginia volleyball community by coordinating year-round indoor adult recreational league play.  In addition to coordinating indoor leagues, which play at the Virginia Volleyball Center, the Dulles Sportsplex and Fairfax County schools, the club also coordinates outdoor grass tournaments each summer.  To learn more about the FVC as well as its leagues and tournaments, please visit the FVC website.

The Skills Clinic Was a Great Success!

Fred Chao, the head coach of George Mason University's men's volleyball program, and his team did an OUTSTANDING job coaching the Skills Clinic on Wednesday, September 14 at VVC.  And thanks to all of the FVC members who participated -- we had our most successful clinic yet with 70+ participants!

Be sure to check out our Facebook Fan Page during the next week or so to see pics from the clinic.

As a "thank you" to Fred and the entire volleyball program at GMU, FVC will be coordinating "FVC Night at GMU" where FVC members can attend GMU home volleyball matches for only $1 per person.
  • The first "FVC Night" will be Saturday, November 5 when the lady Patriots take on James Madison University.  Click here for more details about the November "FVC Night at GMU."  (Click here to view the entire schedule for the lady Patriots.)
  • There will be two additional "FVC Nights" when the men's team takes to the court starting in January. Stay tuned for more details but in the meantime, be sure to bookmark the men's team's website so you can view the entire schedule once it's available.
