Superintendent's Messages

Jose Banda

Thank you for the warm welcome I've received since arriving at Seattle Public Schools. I've enjoyed speaking with families and community members at the various meetings around the region.

During some of these meetings, I outlined some of my goals to build student access across the School District. See news release.

We are working hard to address the enrollment growth of Seattle Public Schools and are putting together a Building Excellence plan with a list of proposed projects. Read more

If you want to  personally discuss these plans, or any other topic with me, I have open office hours on the last Thursday of every month. To schedule an appointment, call (206) 252-0167 or email vhwallace@seattleschools.org.
