Boy scout honoredEagle Scout and Nathan Hale senior Alexander Beaumont, left, was honored March 27 for helping create emergency radio communications and disaster preparedness drills in Queen Anne area. The breakfast recognized local individuals whose extraordinary acts make them a hero.

'Symetra Heroes' recipients honored at CenturyLink celebration

ericka pollardSymetra Financial and the Seattle Seahawks honored the 24 Puget Sound-area teachers who were recognized as "Symetra Heroes in the Classroom" during the 2011 NFL season, at a special celebration at CenturyLink Field May 18. Right photo is B.F.
