Three supe candidates

Seattle School Board names top three finalist for Superintendent

The Seattle School Board on April 19, announced three finalists for Superintendent: José L. Banda, Steven W. Enoch and Sandra L. Husk. The finalists will be in Seattle during the week of April 23 to meet with the School Board and the 25-member Community Focus Group, as well as to tour several Seattle schools.

Teams Echo and Foxtrot of Ingraham High School Rocket Club will compete May 12  in the National Finals of the world's largest rocketry contest. The teams earned the honor after qualifying among the top 100 teams in April, beating out 678 other participating student teams from across the country.
