The U.S. Department of Agriculture unveiled new school nutrition standards Jan. 25, aimed at reducing childhood obesity. Seattle Public Schools is already in line with many of the new standards.

Seattle Public Schools students are invited to create a model of how and where they would like to learn 50 years from now. This is not a contest, but the submissions will be organized into an exhibition on view August 2012 at Seattle Center.,
