Linda Oshinsky Memorial Scholarship Endowment

Linda Toole Oshinsky January 29, 1953 - February 26, 2007
Linda Oshinsky was a beloved educator, wife, and friend.  Serving as an AP English teacher at Stratford High, she was also the Head of the English Department, Graduation Coordinator, Senior Class Adviser, 2000 Teacher of the Year, District Teacher of the Year, and District Honor Roll Teacher.  More importantly than her many accolades, she was an inspiration to her students. Mrs. Oshinsky's untimely passing and the legacy she left behind led to the creation of The Linda Oshinsky Memorial Scholarship Endowment which will be awarded to a graduating senior of Stratford High who wishes to pursue English or Education.

Twitter Online Fundraiser: Twive and Receive
We need your help! Coastal Community Foundation asks for your assistance in spreading the word about an online fundraiser we are participating in. The June 14, 2012 fundraiser, called Twive and Receive, is meant to spread the word about our cause via social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, blog, etc). This will not only raise money, but also aid in establishing a respectable online presence for the organization. All proceeds will go to the Beaufort Fund which was established in 1998 to distribute grants to Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper county non-profit organizations.  The Fund's ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life in these counties by supporting the network of non-profits that serve our community.

The link to our page, where donations will be made during the online event, can be found here

What we ask of you is to help interact with our Twitter account, as well as share a few posts encouraging your followers to participate and follow our account. Whether it be on your Facebook page, Twitter account, or any other social medium you may use, every bit of exposure helps!

If you feel that this is something you would like to be a part of, or if you have any questions regarding the event, please feel free to contact us (gray@coastalcommunityfoundation.org) with how you would be willing to help. Remember, just one tweet exposes our cause to a wide variety of individuals. Every little tweet helps!
