Recent Grants to the Community

On May 11, Coastal Community Foundation gathered friends and family of Ted Stern to honor him and thank him for his part in starting the Foundation as well as his generosity to the community. Friends shared stories of time spent with Dr. Stern while he looked on with gratitude and love. Dr. Stern cut the ribbon the the Theodore S. Stern Meeting Room while attendees serenaded him with For He's a Jolly Good Fellow. The Theodore S. Stern Meeting Room is an intimate setting where staff, donors, nonprofits, and civic leaders gather to discuss community issues and the resources available to help eliminate those issues. A Beautiful Evening for Soccer, Fun, and Friends!

On May 13, the Foundation hosted its annual soccer party at Blackbaud Stadium. It was an evening of free food, great friends, fun conversation, and some soccer, too! Thank you to the Bakkers who have generously extended this invitation to the Foundation for years so we are able to extend it to you!
